Friday Prayers: Green voice (2)

"Khooni keh dar rag e maast, hedyeh be mellat e maast"

Though the images aren't crisp, this clip is the most representative of the atmosphere at the Prayers [First set of videos]. Filmed from the vantage point of people who couldn't make it into Tehran University, standing in one of the side streets, it shows the first few minutes of the Prayer, starting with Azan. It is interesting to hear the crowd's reactions. Also, note that as slogans in favor of the Supreme Leader (rahber) are instructed inside, people replace the word "rahbar" with "mellat," saying: "khooni keh dar rag e maast, hedyeh be mellat e maast". Interesting.
