This song is great for.....

the mullahs as well as the Pahlavis...The only difference between mullah and Pahlavi...is one kills for God...the other killed because he thought it was better for a leader to be feared than loved. The clueless shahis are just like the iri supporters--their leader can do no wrong.

Nothing will change in Iran till a secular regime is in place.
Ahmadi, Mousavi, Khatami, all are the same, all will serve the regime and I will not be surprised that this whole show was to make Mousavi a popular president so the Mullahs will have another 8 years of rein on the poor people whoc do not have a clue how they got tricked again :-)

Americans for a Democratic Republic in Iran.

The Reform movement in Iran led by Mousavi is part of the theocracy.

Whether Ahmadinejad or Mousavi won the elections does not matter one iota.

Both candidates support the theocracy.

During Mousavi's term as Prime Minister during the 1980s the most amount of Iranian political prisoners were executed.  Most of those executed political prisoners were members of the Mujahedin Khalq organization.

Protests are not uncommon in Iran.  In 1999 Iranian students protested.  What happened?  Iranian President Khatami stood with the theocracy.

What could possibly be the theocracy's plan for accepting Mousavi as a candidate and then fraudulently making him lose the election.  the President in Iran has no power.

One scenario: Give youth hope.  Let them vote.  They lose the vote.  Let them protest.  Arrest and kill the protesters.  Those arrested get kicked out of universities and end up selling trinkets in the Tehran Bazaars.  

The youth are the biggest problem for the theocracy.  What will the theocracy do?  Export their problem.  How?

All these youth one way or another will migrate out of Iran.

This helps the theocracy in 2 ways:

1.  No more protests.

2.  Youth that migrate out of Iran will probably send money home to  economically poor family members.  This action will prop up the theocracy.

It is a win-win scenario for the theocracy.

Reform in Iran is a smoke screen.

Ahmad Batebi raised a bloody shirt in Tehran in July 1999 during the student protests.  Where does he live now?  The United States.

And what happened to the theocracy?  They are doing business as usual.

پس از 22 خردادماه امسال و با اعلام پیروزی احمدی نژاد در انتخابات، نام مجتبی بیشتر از همیشه شنیده شد. گفته می شود که در پس کودتای انتخاباتی، سید مجتبی و حمایت آیت الله خامنه ای قرار دارد. سید مجتبی و آیت الله خامنه ای دست به اقداماتی زدند تا مهندس موسوی، منتخب مردم به ریاست جمهوری نرسید و محمود احمدی نژاد برای نیل به مقصود یعنی جلوگیری از به قدرت رسیدن مشارکت و سازمان مجاهدین به این مقام منصوب شود.
