I can't wait for Saturday 1.30PM. We will all gather in Montreal, in front of AMC Cinema, corner Ste-Catherine and Atwater.

I also cybercoaxed a friend to go to the Brisbane (Australia) rally. If she does not go, I will not give her a con panna expresso coffee when she's back in Canada. ;)

On its site, it is stated that “United4Iran is a non-partisan collaborative of individuals and human rights organizations. United4Iran does not promote any political agenda. Our only aim is to condemn the widespread and systematic violations of the Iranian people’s human rights and to call for full restoration of their human and civil rights.”


As such, I support this endeavor wholeheartedly.  Hoping for the day when human rights of all people are the respected and protected; when men and women enjoy equal rights; when the religious entities tend to the spiritual needs, and governmental entities tend to the civil needs of the people.
