I sympathize with the protestors, but they are making a tactical mistake. Their movement will get crushed because they are outnumbered and their opponents are well armed and crazy.

Most Iranians are poor and backwards and don’t care very much for personal freedom. Their only concern is to receive government handouts and have big brother keep tab on the wealthy and powerful. They see these protestors as taghootis (wealthy upper class) who should be kept in check because they are inclined towards corruption.

I hope that cooler heads will prevail, but I have sick feeling that at the end, a lot of people (lefties/liberals) would have wished that none of this had happened.

Even during a time with Iranians are so pro-this and that

pro-women, pro-democracy, pro-organic bla bla bla etc etc etc pro - rights, there are people like Bahram who are taking time to criticize someone who is IN IRAN, not to mention representing enemies of the regime at great risk to herself and her family. 

Meanwhile, we have Iranians who while doing this attack on Shirin praise someone like Reza Pahlavi or Maryam Rajavi (not that Bahram does). This double standard never ceases to amaze. 

If it's so easy to change Iran, and Shirin Khanoom has failed so miserably, maybe it's time for a tough man living in exile in a safe zip code to descend on the masses and do it himself.

Is that her job? Why aren't you doing anything to bring down this regime? Talk is cheap. Shirins deeds might not translate into an overnight revolution and champagne toast, but she has done great work to protect and fight when most people would give up.

Kameneie has acted in a way that doesn`t asnwer to anyone. Perhaps that is a reality before and by the constitution of Iran. But I have noticed since all of Irans broadcasting corporations are reporting and covering news stories on palestine or lebenon rather than these historic days "in Iran".

Palestinians and arabs are prefered over Iranians? Shame on those who voted for Ahmadinejad they truly voted for dictatorchip and its continuity!

They have voted for discrimination and Arabs over Iranians. I am embaressed before my Canadian friends. They asked me " do those people that voted for Ahmadinejad have no brain?

The answer is clear.

Go and read how Aljazeera is talking about Ahmadinejad as if it is their candidate!!! Kaveh Afrasyabi must know Life could change and he will be questioned one day before "justice".
