Congressman's Nowruz Message

Public Affairs Alliance of Iranian Americans (PAAIA) -- Congressman Michael M. Honda (California-District 15) released a video message congratulating Iranian Americans on the joyous occasion of Nowruz, the Iranian New Year. Last week Congressman Honda introduced a resolution into the U.S. House of Representatives in honor of the Iranian New Year.

Congressman Mike Honda, A voice for peace and reconcilation

I know him for over 10 years. He's a self made man who started at the bottom before being elected to Congress. He's a down to earth man, very wise and peaceful. These are the people who will guide United States through 21th century. Thank you Congressman Honda and thanks for posting this clip.

Where are all these Eye-rainians that we never knew about? Unless you include the polulation of Kazakistan, Tajikistan, Afghanistan, Azerbaijab, Ghirghezistan, Chechnia, Kursih Turkey, Kurdish Iraq, and of course the Eyeranian Americans!! But are you sure that all these peoples would lkie to be grouped as Eyeranians?

بدون شک این آقازاده برای ابقای خود در کنگره ایالتی محتاج حمایتهای همه جانبه «ایرانی جماعت» مقیم حوزه انتخابی اش میباشد. جا دارد یک شیر پاک خورده ای طرز تلفظ صحیح کلمات «ایران» و «ایرانی» را به او گوشزد کند.

Obama's Norouz speech really set in with lots of Americans. 5 year old white girl next door stop by to wish us a new years.

I actually gave her and sister a Norrouz gift ($5 dollars each). They promptly fold them an stuff it in their toy and promised to be back next year
