A few words about Hossein Derakhshan!

by farrad02 on

Let me first say that I am against political arrests of anyone, including Hossein Derakhshan. And I request that he be freed unconditionally and immediately unless there is credible evidence of him having committed a crime!  And if his trip to Israel is his crime, then determine his fine and carry it out! But keeping people against their will for b.s. charges is unacceptable!

But know this!   Hossein Derakhshan has always and will always have only one objective and aim; to promote and boost Hossein Derakhshan. He is a publicity addict and will do anything and anyone to get it. This trip to Israel was done along that path and in that spirit as was his return to Iran (apparently in consultation with his influential father and family). Hossein discredited, attacked and dangered many activists even while they were in Evin prison!  Just do a simple Google search on him or even better, just go check out his old weblog and you'll see what he has been upto for the past 3+ years!

Also note that we do not really know the terms and conditions of his incarceration. And furthermore, his family are insisting that there be no protest or reporting about his incarceration! How normal is that?!

This guy's arrest may very well be a necessary part of his integration back into his father's creed! This is not to say that he is not being held against his will; no one likes to be out of touch in this way and for this long, especially an attention hog and jet-setter like Hossein! But this is an accepted course of action for him. He had written many times about the certainty of his arrest upon return and apparently he had it worked out or he wouldn't return!

I will be shocked beyond belief if he is not released soon and continues in his recent ways!

Note: Don't sensor this or I will keep posting it!

Now I get it! He is a traitor who is a friend of Israel! Jail!

by gol-dust on

Keep him in jail for a long time! The guy is arrogant and defender of Israel! What is a traitor? If israeli soldier compliments you, then you are a traitor! He might as well join MEK!

He wears I love Tehran since he knows the israeli securities would watch over him. He was being used and he didn't care. I think, Iran has been extremely tolerant of him. He is no journalist! He is anti Iran and friend of the muderer, baby killer, racist Israel! Traitor! We are anti ahmadinejad, but we are not going to israel to attack him. Of course, you didn't participated in anti israel rally. why would you?! You are disgrace to Iran! Not for what you say, for who and where you say it to! Our enemy No. 1 Israel!

Let's Make a Deal

by Behnam Khazar on

Let's make a deal with IRI.  They keep Hoder and on top of that we send JJ too; in exchange they release Roxana Saberi, poor journalist, the former Miss North Dakota.  It will be a win-win-win for all.....

I also suggest that the Iranian winery in Napa issue a wine in her honor, either Saberi Wine or Roxana Wine.  Grab the idea before one of the large infidel wineries put a trade mark on that name.

Do I have 50% plus one vote from iranian.com readers.  Vote early and often....

well spent money

by AK (not verified) on

Hossein doesn't know that Israel spent millions of dollars to make sure Ahamdi Nejaad becomes the president in Iran. How else could a nation with such brave people become the ridicule of the world, belittled and shunned away by just about most of the planet, re-elect Ahamdi Nejaad!

This clip was linked on Hoder's website when it first came out in 2006, along with other video footage of his trips to Israel.

Certainly, whatever crime Hossein Derakhshan may have committed according to Islamic Republic of Iran's laws, nothing justifies his disappearance and detention for several months before his charges are clearly stated and a trial has been held. It is appalling to keep someone in "temporary detention" for five months without access to family and legal representation.

His Brain Doesn't work well..

by irannostalgia.com on

When this week you placed an article about the lady that was arrested after buying wine, some senseless people commented something like: Well she broke the law or she should have known better.

She should have been a bit more carefull, but other than that NO human being should spend 10 days in jail for buying WINE. Certain laws are just stupid and barbaric and those who should go to jail are those who came up with such ridiculous laws. Like whats wrong with Wine????

Now on to Mr. Derakhshan. .. I have a total dislike for him. He likes Khomeini? I'm glad he is getting a taste of Khomeini!!!!! I wouldn't mind he spent couple of days in jail so that he gets to eat his own words. He also should learn to think twice before praising a murderer.

But that said, nobody, including him should go to Jail for this long just because he speaks his mind. Wether we like it or not. So, yes release him. "But when he gets out, I hope he shuts up!!!

Now, what was he thinking!!? He goes to Israel wearing a "I love Tehran T-shirt"!!! It's like going to Israel wearing a "Beat me up" T-shirt. Then he films it and distributes it all over the place. THEN to kill it... he visits Iran, probably with an israeli visa stamped on his passport!! What was he thinking ???? No wonder he writes such bullshit !!!!!

Now again dont get me wrong, I'm for him being released. But talk about stupid!!
