Iranians doing very ordinary things and enjoying themselves

This is great! Down to earth and real. Loved this one!

Your talents are being wasted in the US, man. Your country needs people like you. You should go back to Iran. It's best country to live in the World, Abarmard.

Btw, I love the hat.

Daryush

what are YOU talking about

by Daryush on

Everybody fled their land for some reason or other. Normally it's not good. so there.

I live in Iran and can bet that you have never been to Iran.

You always twist things to serve your agenda to NO AVAIL

Agha kako Abarmard

First of all, I thought you already left for Shiraaz what are you still doing here Kako?

Secondly, unlike Irish, Italians and the Dutch, most of the several million Iranian immigrants to the U.S. and elsewhere fled or left economically oil and gas rich Iran first and foremost because of lack of freedom both socially and politically, and in the last decade or so for economic reasons but Irish, Italian and other immigrants (minus the political refugees) went to the U.S. many decades ago MAINLY for economic reasons, all in search of fortune and opportunity and now several decades later, their descendants can go back to their home countries any time they want.

Quite different from the overall Iranian immigrants and not like some opportunist so called Iranians who admire everything about Iran SPECIALLY its political establishment with gusto yet PREFER to live and praise it from afar, and still have the gall to constantly come on this Website and advise others to see the Iranian regime from behind the rose colored glasses as they and their ilk pretend to do.

Mr. or Mrs. Strange

by Abarmard on

We have a little Italy close by to my work. Every day I pass it, I see many proud "Italian" flag hanging. A few miles further we have proud Irish. Recently to our city, there are many Asians such as Chinese, Indonesians and Indians. All proud, all here.

Would you then suggest that the entire immigrant population in the US is based on hypocrisy? They are proud of their origins, they live here. So what's missing in your logic?

Logic.

Thanks for the post. I love Iran and miss it very much.

Everybody says they're homesick YET ...

by Strange (not verified) on

Aside from those who cannot go back for political reasons, everybody, specially the hardore smpathizers of IRI (quite a lot on this site), still prefer to live afar and praise "vatan" from a long distance and do not want to ever move back there to live, but only for a visit.

I guess that is the hypocrisy in our Iranian blood.
