What happened to $9B. The money that Carter has given to IRI
by Shahrokh T (not verified) on Mon Mar 23, 2009 10:36 PM PDTSadegh Eva (Tabatabai) has received $9B according to Crater and Warren Chirstofer. What did he do with the money?
The other issue is about Admiral Abdolahi whom claims that the generals had nothing else to do and were very worried so they decided to say they are not going to listen to PM Bakhtiyar any longer and ordered all army men to go back to their base.
We all know that Mr. Bazargan have talked to Gharabaghi for days for handing the army to Khomani. The report says that Hayser has talked to Gharabaghi regarding this issue. Why Yazdi did not mention this conversation between bazargan and Gharabaghi?
Why BBC has not published the tape of Dr. Bakhtiyar, whom talks about the conversation that he had with Gharabaghi at 12 noon of 22 Bahman?
BBC is up to something. Believe me!!!!!
The Very worst thing that happened to iranian people!
by Vatanparast1 (not verified) on Mon Mar 23, 2009 10:17 PM PDTI won't even bother to listen to those videos above, because We all know that they were make to make feel like idiots. Mr.Daryush (who spells his name wrong) is an agent,or ignorant.
why? all he knows is to say Zionism this, Zionism that and I bet you he has no idea who the Zionist are and what they really stand for. Good Books are available.
The British Government, took revenge of the Shah for calling them stupid "blue eyes", when the Shah was having the interview with David Frost. You can see it in Youtube.Still there.
The knew and still know our weakness is religion. No matter how educated we were or are. We still weeps for those 14 Imams, who were nothing but Arabs with swords, who were trying to shove their ideology down our throat just like what they are doing now.
Bani Sadr/Yazdi/Ghotbzadeh Triangle of Traitors. May they Rot in Hell.
Islamic Republic can never be negotiated with
by mahmoudg on Mon Mar 23, 2009 09:05 PM PDTThe essence of Islamic republic is domination of the region if not the world and turning back the tide of progress and modernity for as far back as it would go. This is the essence of Islam. removing the Islamic Republic from the scene in Iran is only the first step towards anihilating this backward way of thought.
Nice Report
by Shahrokh T (not verified) on Mon Mar 23, 2009 05:34 PM PDTI just watched the 1st part of the report. BBC did a good job on covering the news specially the conversation between west reps and Khoamni's rep. Both sides say the same thing. However many parts are missing.
1. The news that BBC did broadcast in Farsi between July 1978 and Feb. 1979. What did they say at the nightly programs and what were the effect of the programs the next day. Why they have reported in favor of Khomani and against Sanjabi and Shah. When Sanjabi was in Europe in Sept. 1978, BBC tried his best to make him weak. BBC was successful on it. The same case for Bakhtiyar.
2. Sadegh Gotbzadeh. (how was he? He kept 3 American diplomats in the Forigon minstery for 444 days outside of US Embassy.) Many other questions are not answered.
3. How Yazdi, Ghotbzadeh and Banisadr got united in Paris? They did not know either other before 1978.
I would see the loser of this case was USA, but BBC has not talked about UK, even a word at all. Did UK lost or gained anything?
4. The planes were left untouched in Tabas in 1980. Iran burned them down a day after US guys left. Did the order came from US to not let SU get there before Iranians. Tabas is less than 200 Miles away from Afghanestan. Russians were there in 1980.
What BBC is up to now a days???
What a great documentary
by IRANdokht on Mon Mar 23, 2009 04:32 PM PDTA very detailed account of all that has happened told by the very people involved in discussions and the decision making process. I feel like having taken a roller coaster ride with all the up n' down relationship between Iran and the west. Granted most if this info had been evident, to put them in chronological order and showing the relationship between events was very revealing.
Hopefully people will stop jumping to conclusion and realize that some people have done the best they could and some have made hasty decisions that our people are paying for dearly.
Thank you M. Ala and Jahanshah for bringing this important program to us.

The best thing that happened to Iran?!!!!!
by Ali baba (not verified) on Mon Mar 23, 2009 03:00 PM PDTHey Daryush, I hope you're typing these words sitting in Iran. If you're writing this while living abroad then I recommend that you move back and live in Iran for a while before you emphasize these positive changes! Apparently, you find this kind of mentality that leads to isolation of a nation an accomplishment. I don't. I'm more of a team player. I would have preferred our country to play ball with other nations rather than stand up uselessly against them. We don't have to be the stupid, the stubborn, and the proud; we can be smart team players who reap the benefits of this cooperation! Look at what the current Japan does (not WWII Japan!) they have all the economic benefits of being a responsible member of the world community and they have an excellent culture that has been well preserved. They compete with the world economically and technologically. We don't have to change our own culture to join the community of nations, we just have to learn to coexist in peace. Frankly, picking up the cause of the Palestinians has been our biggest mistake. Hey, is there's injustice in the world? Yes! But why should this be our cause? Why is it that their own Arab neighbors don't give a hoot about them. We seem to be the "kasse-yeh-az-aash-dagh-tar!!?" Why? If one's to pick his/her cause, why pick a cause that destroys you at the end?
Anyway. We could have all reaped the benefits of a healthy, strong economy and practiced our own believes in our own way had we embraced the world versus standing in opposition to it. All powers are corrupt; but to think the current corrupt world power structure lead by the U.S. would have been any different if Iran were in power is foolish! All global powers follow their own self interest. In fact, modern politics is the practice of self interest! Our pickings of causes that hurt our own people's interest over idealogical and foolish ego based arguments may make us feel better in the short run, but it invariably hurts us in the long run by destroying our economy, our nation's reserve, and the standing of its citizens around the world. That's no progress in my book! That's just an ego trip! Let's compete with our industries, technology, and economy, not with our hot heads!
The best thing that happened to Iran
by Daryush on Mon Mar 23, 2009 01:49 PM PDTIs that Iran is the most aggressive, pro western culture in the Asia, but we have freed our selves from the hands of foreigners. That's the best thing that has happened to Iran regardless of the current hardships.
I have high hopes because I see the positives also, and as time is passing the positives are out weighing the negatives, and that's what makes the US government and their Zionists warmongers worried.
Let them worry, they have a chance to join the Iranian path, and learn a bit about our ways. It's time to educate the other side, one way flow of information is just not healthy, it makes Zionism (Cancer) grow within the societies. Education of the West, specially Americans are badly needed.
They need to climb down their high horse and see that in some ways we are far a head of them. Learn from our experiences and move forward.
