by Parham on Mon Jun 01, 2009 08:17 AM PDTDoes "once again" mean you had posted that stupid video already once before, but under a different handle, while your handle was anonymous anyway?? I'm not surprised... :)

by Parham on Mon Jun 01, 2009 07:28 AM PDTI said the number of people "interviewed" alright. That doesn't mean the banners, etc. The people who boycott don't have that type of voice. It's a tyrannical system, remember? Even the lady who said she will boycott, said and left. WHICH should actually say something about the cowardice levels of the proponents (including yourself).
Plus, go see the development of this subject between me and the unregistered handle. It's not a battle about the number of boycotters and those who'll vote. I KNOW there will be more voters. Which actually should mean you should be ashamed of yourself!
Parham, why do you lie?
by Mashty (not verified) on Mon Jun 01, 2009 07:08 AM PDTWhat you talking about dude? 5 people were interviewed? How about the cars with the sign, how about the people with Green sign, which represents Mousavi. I would say with about 20 people only two said that they won't vote, and one, the old lady was a "might".
Remember that the stores also had signs, which means they all were going to vote.
So you are a propagandist that even when the video is clearly there and you can count the numbers, you lie and tell the readers bowl shit, which shows what kind of a person you truly are.
You should be ashamed of yourself. Watch the video and count again.
Once again...

by Parham on Mon Jun 01, 2009 06:37 AM PDTThat's 2 boycotters in 5 interviewed in this piece, with the taxi-driver's words not clear.
That's 40% in this sample -- it's not bad (although the sample size is actually insignificant).
And don't call me son. I have no relation whatsoever with people such as yourself and I don't want to have any.

Elections are a good move
by Davood_Banayan on Sun May 31, 2009 06:58 PM PDTAmericans for a Democratic Republic in Iran.
Iran has improved since the Iranian Revolution that took place over 30 years ago.
I hope for the best for 70 million Iranians and may they all vote.
The winner of the election will meet with US President Hussein Obama. God Bless America. And why not?
Great Video Guys!
by This is what democracy looks like (not verified) on Sat May 30, 2009 09:55 PM PDTDavid Ignatius of the Washington post writes:
"Maybe the real point is that Iran is having a contested election at all. This isn't a nation of fanatics with suicide belts strapped to their waists. It's a real country, with proud, well-educated people who take their democracy seriously, even with the constraints imposed by Iran's theocracy. Like people throughout the Middle East, Iranians have been astonished by the rise of Barack Obama and the new opportunities he embodies."
And this is exactly what this video shows..regardlesss of the government..the people are engaged in debate on real issues.. this is what democracy looks like..these are important political developments that should not be dismissed. democracy is a thing people practice, not some abstract notion.
Two boycotters there already
by Parham on Sat May 30, 2009 08:55 PM PDTAnd they're inside Iran as you see.
So who's not in touch with the realities of Iran now?? This note, of course, for the charlatans who say boycotters are outside and are not in touch with Iran's realities.
