"But I have hope that one

by Hassan Askari (not verified) on

"But I have hope that one day I can visit my motherland, with headsup and pride that I can be proud of the country and its people."

That day is not in our life time, one way (IRI) or another (democratic Iran). So you have 2 choices:

1) go to Iran within your lifetime and do something, anything, like eating faloodeh in a busy icecream shop in Tehran or somewhere else in Iran

2) be bitter, blame everything on "principles" and go to grave having not done anything while you could.

Great video clip

by Sarcheshmeh (not verified) on

Khansar has one of the best GAZ and HONEY in iran.
Reminded me of my good childhood memories of khansar.
surrounded by beautiful mountains and graet fields with a lot of flowers and ponds (called ESSEL) outside the town :-)

Thanks

Sorry to hear, HATEIRI

by XerXes (not verified) on

Sorry to hear that you can't ever go to Iran. Well think it this way, the terrorist government as you call it, is protecting what doesn't belong to you anymore and taking not shit from anyone. Has many problems but none that you could concern yourself with. So all is well. Sorry for the cruel honesty.

There are many places in the world that you can visit instead of Iran. Go there.

I miss Iran, my motherland and my country

For 24 years because of my principles and ideology I have refused to hold an IRI terrorist passport. I somehow regret it since many my family members have either died, married born and I wasn't there. My principles and ideology come first. I can's stand the inequality, the mistreatment and the corruption by the Mullahs against my people. Therefore, I refuse to carry their name. I apologize to my grandmothers and my grandfathers and my uncle who passe away recently.

I am deeply, deeply so sorry, and I hope they understand.

But I have hope that one day I can visit my motherland, with headsup and pride that I can be proud of the country and its people.

I am hoping that we can all live in freedom and democracy and equality for all Iranians.

I am hoping for a prosperous and strong Iran.

Golesoon Kooh

by Cyrus_ (not verified) on

Just came back from Iran where I spent a weekend in Khonsar.
Went to Golesoon Kooh in the rain and saw the beauty
of these flowers and the mountains around.
Brought back 10 boxes of Gaz Angabin and 7 bottles of honey. Will last me for a while.
Thanx for the beautiful slide show and a great song to go with it.
