This is pathetic

What has Israel lobby got to do with what’s happening in Iran? Our people are being raped and murdered and all you talk about is AIPAC and what Israel lobby is doing in Europe, US or anywhere else around the world? Isn’t it distraction?  Your people are facing the real possibility of a destructive attack by the same people you are talking about because your officials are recklessly provoking it. Ya, I know, I’m an Israeli agent and paid servant of AIPAC. What difference would that make? Why don’t you keep your eyes on the ball?

Moosir I had given you a lot more credit, and I still think you are a very intelligent person. But, please….don’t let your prejudices blur your vision. How can you say Iran is surrounded by arabs and Israel is not? How can you consciously deny that Israel fears her existence? This is not to defend their policies, but you have to look at it within the context of their circumstances. So far they have succeeded to manage to exist with the help of US and the west. They are thankful to their lobbies around the globe. So what? Aren’t you lobbying to save your homeland?

Call me what you want, but I find it hypocritical to lobby to prevent removal of IRI by forceful means because you want to protect your homeland but condemn someone else for doing the same. 

Let’s remember that right now we have a bigger issue than condemning Israel. Let’s be realist and see the problem for what it is. All you guys condemn any forceful action to remove IRI on the premise that there is absolutely no chance that Israel would attack. I say you are gambling with lives of thousand, if not millions, of your hamvatans. You can give me all the reasons why harsh foreign actions against IRI will be ineffective and I may have hard time disputing them, but, the fact remains that you have to pick between bad and worst.

  So, please get off of condemning Israel lobby and focus on how to get rid of IRI under current conditions. How do you face the likes of “No Fear” on the streets of Iran? Once we take care of that problem the Israel issue will be a whole lot easier to resolve.    

Dear Payam - the relevance of the lobby

The relevance of this lobby to us Iranians is that  it works tirelessly to direct Western foreign policy.  If you watch this documentary, you will see that they are influencing parliamentarians, politicians, the media and foreign policy decision making - which includes scaremongering regarding Iran's nuclear programme, imposition of sanctions, and buying support for military attack.  THIS is the relevance.

What is it to us Iranians?

I really do not understand why everyone follows the rules set by i.r. to be aware of the zionist concpiracy to rule over arabs. Who cares, big deal. What is it to us Iranians? Really!

Israel could become an ally of Iran no doubt but it is strategically not in our intrests when they are unwilling to reach peace with the Palestinians and keep oppressing them. We have arabs surrounding us and not Israel. Even Shah was careful not to get too close to them.

This is only on the surface

The reality is much harsher than this program can present. Currently the Israeli lobby is strong in Germany, France, and UK and (of course the US). None are allowed to do detail investigative reporting. I am a bit surprised about this program, but hope that this is the start.

The lobby owns many stations and programmers, so this kind of reporting will not be a norm. And even if there are individuals who want to bring forth the horrible lobby, they will be bought or pushed away, similar to any politicians who might go against them.

However strong, their method of buying politicians and news programs to present a better and pro Israeli image and equate that as a pro host country is not sustainable in the long run. Sooner or later a party or grass roots organizations will form to defend their own national interest against Israeli influences.

Excellent documentary!  What brave people who have risked the wrath of this pernicious Mafia, broken through their web of tricks and non-transparent financial transactions, and have exposed their control of the media, the Parliament, politicians and foreign policy decision makings.  The millionaire donor to the Conservatives Friends of Israel in the UK, who owns assets in the illegal settlements!  As the Liberal Jewish Rabbi said, he must have speculated the risks before investing!!  It was notable that, as was mentioned in the film, these people are wealthy and powerful and influential but DO NOT represent the views of MANY Jews in the UK or in the US.  David Newman and others in the film who exposed this lobby are themselves Jews.  Thanks again.  I will distribute this widely.

What is wrong with the Jews being strong??  I'd rather have on my side, the Jews, the same people who Cyrus the Great saved from captivity. He helped their cause in Babylon and allowed Zerrubabel to reclaim their treausres including the Arc of the covenant.  We Iranians have more in common with Jews (over 2500 years of common bond) and their country, than we do with Palestinians or the Arabs.  Just look at the slogan millions of our countrymen are chanting in Iran publicly and privately.  "No to Gaza nor Lebanon, my life for Iran".  that means an Iran aligned with Israel.

Israel lobby as strong in UK as in US if not stronger

Many people don't know how deep is Israel lobby's root inside Britain. It goes back before Israel was even created, with people like lord balford and how he was lobbied to began the process of creating Israel. Even now, it's coming out that Churchill's mother was a daughter of a New York Jewish Merchant. Look it up for yourselves. 

 Beyond that, the Rothchilds  have had a strong influence in Europe including UK. 

Another unknown fact is UK's Foreign Minister  is Jewish and he'll ensure Israel's interest in UK's foreign policy agendas.
