Don't just feel sorry, take action join my campaign

As per my Blog, if you are an Iranian who is also a European citizen, you now have the power to change legislation given that you collect one million votes.

There is nothing to stop Iranians in USA doing the same, except their collected signatures would have to go to a house representative/senate as a petition to bring about legal change. What change? Trade sanction based on Human rights violation.

Take the control of this action out of the hand of the politicans and with the campaign bring the Iranian Human rights issue to the people, then politicans would follow.

Do not let IRI sponsored lobby groups or several individuals on the bandwagon of people's outcry try to take it over, I am talking about those who muzzle the 'down with Islamic republic' outcry and try to sell us Islamic with the republic again. Iran needs a secular democracy if you are a secularist and don't take action someone will hijack people's protest.

Would trade sanctions work?

Not just by themselves, but if combined with opposition movement inside Iran, for a period of time it could bring the country to a standstill.

IRI has no one other than those on their payrole left, if those people are not paid they will jump camp.

Sanctions are very likely to happen so before they do, you have a chance to own it and use it to the benefit of the Human rights agenda and mobilizing Iranians in Diaspora.

This was very hard to watch, but thank you for posting. It is a good reminder for most of the depth of the crimes and a wakeup call for many more hopefully.

It reminded me of what my aunt must have gone through when her then 16 year old (yes 16!)  was accused of being a member of an opposition group back in the 80's and subsequently executed. She had an older son, a university student, executed for like reasons by the Shah's regime during the 70's. It is just absolutely disgusting that there is no end to this.

These thugs must be brought to justice. I hope they don't disappear into exile when all is said and done.

Poeple need to hear mothers such as Sohrab's & Neda's moms & support the GREEN Movement in order to topple this criminals for ever.
