These student protests don't add up to a hill of beans
by American Dream on Sun Nov 01, 2009 08:25 PM PSTThese student protests are useless. When the authorities get their hands on them they are expelled and black listed. Without a college education they can't get a job. Such students end up as refugees in western europe never to be heard of again in Iran. The students that don't protest, study and graduate are the ones that run Iran's economy.
Daily Occurrence
by pars35 on Sun Nov 01, 2009 06:15 PM PSTPeople coming back from Iran tell you taht this happens daily. A lot of people think the Future for the mulahs will come just like Nicolae Ceauşescu of Romania
The crime these peole had committed since 1980 will fill thousands of books and courts for years.
USA needs a friendly Iran again .. Hope they are not planning another puppet like the Shah. Of course Obama is no dummy like Dwight D. Eisenhower
Student Protests at Khaje
by vildemose on Sun Nov 01, 2009 12:33 PM PSTThis is how the brave students at Khaje Nassir university showed their discontent against Ahmadinejad's former Guidance Minister today. They turned their backs against Safar Harandi and sang the student solidarity anthem for their colleagues who are imprisoned or have been banned from continuing with their education. Marvellous act of unity and solidarity with their comrades. With daily protests at Iran universities, despite severe repressive measures, Ahmadinejad's coup junta is fast running out of options as what to do with Iran's students.
