Wow, that was painful...
by American Dream on Sun Nov 01, 2009 08:36 PM PSTIt sounded as the guy was sacrificing a cow. Oh, lord please help us. "Aaamadeh rooyeh chaman?" And everything is sacred.

by yolanda on Sun Nov 01, 2009 06:26 PM PSTDon't trust the counter number, a quarter of it is mine! I just can't have enough of his trills. The guy handled difficult trills effortlessly!

Don't trust the 'reads'
by benross on Sun Nov 01, 2009 04:04 PM PSTDon't trust the 'reads' count. Half of it is mine! I just can't get enough of it!
Very creative
by Jahanshah Javid on Sun Nov 01, 2009 01:09 PM PSTI don't know why but their humor feels very subversive. One of those things that the authorities would love to ban but can't point a finger at any part of it.
Devastated!

by yolanda on Sat Oct 31, 2009 02:20 PM PDTThank you, Yara, for your post. I appreciate it! The guy makes the traditional music sound really good! He is better than the professionals. All the agents and producers should jump on him, the guy has raw talents!
thanks,
Yolanda
by Yara on Sat Oct 31, 2009 11:30 AM PDTThis is very funny!
This is a spoof of how traditional music is sometimes performed, where someone recites a piece of Persian poetry and the musical group spontaneously performs a song based on that poem. It's called "bedaheh-navaazi".
It starts well with the guy singing the first few lines of a poem the woman recites. He gets into trouble when the poetry lady mis-pronounces the words and he realizes that the musicians don't know how to play and refuse to accompany him. The poetry lady later throws some cheap lyrics the singer's way which he has to include in his song. Pretty good!

by yolanda on Sat Oct 31, 2009 11:02 AM PDTI absolutely love this video and I have saved it under my You-tube account. The guy has such an amazing God-given voice, it is so beautiful! His voice blew me away!!! I don't know what exactly happened! Did the guy forget the lyrics? It is no big deal! It happens at "American Idol" all the time! Oh my gosh, the guy is sooo good looking! .......BTW, I don't have any evil intention, just like to praise the talented (and good-looking O:)) people!
Thank you for posting the video and I will definitely watch (listen) over and over again!
thanks,
