Karen was adopted from an orphanage in 1974 by American parents who brought her to the US. Life's circumstances put her in foster homes later, where she eventually found her path. She now wants to travel back to Iran in April to find her roots and to discover Iran for herself:

The good thing is that she is super honest. She mentioned that one foster family has unconditional love for her, it means a lot to her......
