Obama: Iran must show transparency

Obama in Iran inspection demand

BBC: US President Barack Obama says Iran must give UN inspectors "unfettered access" to its second uranium enrichment facility within two weeks. Speaking after multi-party talks with Iran in Geneva, Mr Obama said that US patience was "not unlimited". "Iran must take concrete steps to build confidence that its nuclear programme will serve peaceful purposes," he said. Tehran revealed last week that it was developing an enrichment site near the city of Qom.

Iran is playing its hand beatifully

by Jaleho on

And the US is acting sane since  the monumental election in Iran with an 85% turnout has forced the US to deal with the wish of Iranian majority, not its own wishful thinking any more! The polls showing that a whooping 94% of Iranians are for their nuclear rights can not be ignored either.

Iranians sent the right guy as the head of their government, and he in turn sent the right guy (Salehi) as head of Iran's atomic energy organization. Neither are prone to give away Iran's rights for any excuse!

What about the wounds of Iranian people

by Jahanshah Rashidian on

The IRI knows how to tactically engage with a tangible, confidence-building like uranium issue--its enrichment can be done in Russia.

Obama is at pains to mention IRI crackdown on the people of Iran. He acts if IRI were legitimate representative of Iran; if on a daily basis, it were not caught red- handed!

Mr. president. What about the wounds of Iranian people?
