Protesters went to Kayhan Newspaper's booth, pinned green ribbons to its flag, left flyers demanding freedom for Ahmad Zeidabadi, and signed Kayhan's visitors' book with comments supporting the Green Movement. Some were directed at its hardline editor Hossein Shaiatmadari. One message said: "آقای شریعتمداری، دموکراسی را با سین می نویسند."

Go Green
by masoudA on Wed Oct 21, 2009 07:03 AM PDTI think Iranian.com should declare 13-Aban as green day and turn all fonts Green on that day. Just a suggestion
Guest book Revolution?
by ghalam-doon on Wed Oct 21, 2009 08:19 AM PDTThere was so much publicity around this expo and at the end some people "dared" to sign some guest books. Well, one cannot go so far as calling this action "courageous."
But I guess that is the reality of the situation. People are afraid of being beaten or arrested, but could that happen in a media expo? People are afraid because they know this is not the end of the regime and they have to live in that country no matter what. If they were certain, then they were more courageous, like at the time of the revolution.
So the movement thrives in the cyberspace, but when it comes to the real world, it's reduced to some gestures of discontent like this one. The reality of the situation is that this movement has no plans and with no plans it's doomed to go on like it's been going on for the last 30 years.
Green rocks!

Mr Prez aziz you're not alone, you're just faster than most and leading the way along with Shifteh khanoum. We're right behind you ;-)
IRANdokht
I'm here, too.
by Shifteh Ansari on Tue Oct 20, 2009 10:47 PM PDTI suppose many people don't realize just how courageous these people are to be going to the hornet's nest, Hossein Shariatmadari's booth at the Expo and "defiling" his guest book with green messages. This is big.
I guess for now I'm the only one here in this blog :o))
