You are missing the point.  Even the Iranian theocracy has given Iranian minorities rights.  The Islamic Republic of Iran has representatives of the Jewish, Armanian, Assyrian and Zoroastrian religions in their parliament.  Does that mean that Iran under the theocracy is a democracy?

It is absolutely true, Iran has been under a dictatorship for over 2,500 years.

That being said, the only viable future is for it to become a democratic republic like the United States of America with the social freedoms of Amsterdam.

As for the display windows, I haven't seen any, if you are so passionate about them maybe you should go and hang out in one.

Have you ever heard of Cyrus cylinder!!!

Iran has been one of the pillar of human rights and democracy from its establishment. Iran (Persia) has been mentioned in Bible. It was Iran that respected the Jews and all minority religions and different races.

I am not going to go on with many other examples because it would take “Masnavy havtadman kaghaz shavad”.

But you keep on dreaming that the US is a democracy. An administration that is played by different lobbyist and does not care about the interest of its own people. You call this a democracy???

And please go live in Amsterdam. I am sure there is a place in one of those display windows for you.

It was more years than that.  Iran has been under perpetual dictatorships for over 2,500 years.  The Persians need a democratic republic like the United States with the social freedoms of Amsterdam.

and in the last 30 years it has been proven that Islam is incapable of ruling, evening existing.  they have to resort to Basij and perhaps even of the A-rab kind to supress Persians. But the good Persian heart has rekindled and will not tolerate it any more.  Their days are numbered.
