(CBS) -- Liz Cheney kicked off the Southern Republican Leadership Conference here Thursday night with a direct and unapologetic speech attacking President Obama for his health care push, intelligence posture and foreign policy. Cheney told the roughly 3,500 conservative activists and donors gathered for the conference that there are three prongs to the president's foreign policy: "apologize for America, abandon our allies and appease our enemies." "The Obama administration is putting us on the path to decline," added Cheney, the daughter of former Vice President Dick Cheney. She criticized the administration for the "shabby reception" given Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu when he visited Washington recently, which she deemed "disgraceful." >>>

Well I like Ron Paul,we may

Don't worry about my vote Tim
by I Have a Crush on Alex Trebek on Sun Apr 11, 2010 04:47 PM PDTWe would have been in Nuclear War had McCain won and survived his heart attack after the Georgian's incited Russia to invade.
I'm still glad Obama won. I would have preferred a president unlike McCain, Biden, Obama, or lol Palin lol, known as Ron Paul, but I think we know by now that American "leaders" don't really work for the United States. They work for defense contractors and banks and insurers of debt like AIG. The only good news is China and Japan refuse to buy more debt. It's a start (of the end?).

I'll give people who are against war after being for it a shot
by I Have a Crush on Alex Trebek on Sun Apr 11, 2010 03:13 PM PDTat some credit. Most of the time it's posturing.
But remorse and conscious pang are possible.
I'm glad Netanyahu got "shabby treatment." If liz thinks this, then it's the right track. The USA gets shabby treatment 24/7/365 by Israel. How does it feel?
Democrat or Rethuglican, it doesn't matter. These are parties in the USA elected to serve AMERICA. Not Iran, not iranians, and NOT Israelis or Saudis or Egyptians. Tof to any elected "leaders" who do this. It's the same in Iran. Getting involved in foreign policy and proxy fights is wrong. If you're against Iran being involved in Arab-Israeli conflict, you should oppose USA doing it too.
Liz's connection to covert actions in Iran
by Mola Nasredeen on Sun Apr 11, 2010 02:55 PM PDTIn April 2006, The New York Times published a story critical of Cheney's work, particularly with respect to Iran. Of particular scrutiny was a grants program administered by Elizabeth Cheney's unit, in collaboration with a Republican-affiliated foundation, the International Republican Institute.
The Times maintained that when the group became controversial, with critics saying that it was plotting covert actions that could escalate into war with Iran and Syria, the group was disbanded, by May 2006. Shortly before the ISOG group was dissolved, Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice initiated a major effort to engage Iran and Syria in efforts to stabilize Iraq.
As late as April 11, 2009, Iranian officials investigating "cyber-crimes" cited Cheney's efforts in the daily newspaper Iran, specifically the "Democracy Program" [sic] initiative as parallel to a Netherlands-funded push for a "velvet revolution" accomplished by a media campaign to polarize the country, "despite the 1981 Algiers Accords signed between the U.S. and Iran in the aftermath of the U.S. embassy takeover in Tehran."

Vote Liz Cheney for Knesset
by I Have a Crush on Alex Trebek on Sun Apr 11, 2010 04:07 AM PDTI wish Netanyahu would just take these people with him whenever he packs his crap and leaves Washington, DC. Here's a campaign slogan for Liz Cheney: LIZ CHENEY, SOFT, IGNORANT, LAZY ON USA.
Who cares if people are eating out of trash cans and begging for unemployment benefit extensions. Let them eat cake. We need war war war war war and ways to make sure we can have 50 more years of it.
And if you're a democrat

Loser is as loser does, Marge

If you ask me, most Republicans are losers as are many Democrats. If you are an Iranian Republican, especially a pro-War one like the demon-offspring above, you are a the undisputed true loser in life!
Sometimes, the hardest thing about being a loser is having to face reality.
Daddy Cheney gave her the job in the State Department
by I Have a Crush on Alex Trebek on Sat Apr 10, 2010 06:55 PM PDTIsn't that nice? She gets to have that title in the chyron to act like an expert about Iran because of the chair and desk she got because of sicko Cheney. what a stupid woman. she knows nothing about iran OR america. She's posturing.
She is going to run for some fraud-based office. I've heard rumors of a senate or governor run. It's never about ideas. It's just about attacking and getting the power to screw everything up. The DOJ is pissed at her for the attack ad about lawyers doing their job representing terror suspects. What a loser. Many of those Al qaeda 7 were republican lawyers. Good job Liz. Keep up the terrible work. Your dad ruined the party. Maybe you can shut it down for good?!
Not sure who said it but no, Liz is not a lesbian. That's her sister who also got a cushy government job from daddy sicko Cheney.
Bill Maher discussed Liz in NEW RULES I think. "Liz Cheney: Not the gay one."
Free: you are probably right about AN hanging from a tree sooner
by Bavafa on Sat Apr 10, 2010 05:59 PM PDTand that would only bring one of my wishes to reality. But wouldn't it be really great if they could just hang both of them from the same tree? Although, the fat man DC will probably save AN in that case by causing the tree to break. Well, lets see maybe they can use a crane for DC, how about that? Shocks, I don't care as long as they get the job done, but I would advise on given him some water boarding before they bring the crane. He should taste his own medicine.

Ali Reza, just to educate your hate-filled cranium, it's not just the Republicans who engage in the art of war -- in fact, WWI, WWII, the Korean war and the Vietnam war -- the 4 major US wars of the last century -- were started by DEMOCRATIC presidents! Do you hear me, pal, all the way down there in the sewer of Qom?
And guess what, Bavafa, you're bound to see your boy Ahmadinejad hung like Saddam, much faster than you'll see Dick Cheney in an orange jump suit. Be honest for once, which is more likely?

US should also deploy troops to the Islamic republic to bring law and order back to the country something they should have done back in 1979!?

Louder than words
by Ali-Reza on Sat Apr 10, 2010 08:39 PM PDTThe Repugs have rarely been more repugnant than when they laughed so heartily at the Nobel Peace Prize during this speech. Their disdain and contempt for peace and justice could hardly have come through more clearly. Their laughter should serve as a warning to anyone who has not yet realized that the advocates of war against Iran want war for its own sake. Iran's so-called "nuclear weapon program" is just a convenient excuse, and so are Iran's human rights violations.
