TechNewsWorld: The Stuxnet worm, which targets industrial control systems, or "SCADA" systems, is one of the most sophisticated bits of digital malware security Planning for the next peak season? [CNET: Stuxnet could hijack power plants, refineries] Now, those researchers want to know where it came from. Was Stuxnet the product of a den of hackers working on their own accord, or did a national government somewhere in the world have a hand in its creation?... SCADA systems in Iran bore the brunt of the Stuxnet attack. India and Indonesia were also badly hit, but nowhere near as hard as Iran. "It's hard to say whether all three of these countries were targeted, or whether Iran was the primary target and the other countries got infected because some SCADA engineers who traveled between them accidentally infected computers there," Kaspersky's Schouwenberg said >>>

wow...this is new and interesting!!!
by Benyamin on Wed Aug 18, 2010 08:40 PM PDTIf this whole story be true then I would say it is intrinsically dangroeus for "any" government or organization which have done this to Iran. The Iranian government is equipped with the brightest minds and brains when it comes to software and computer programming. I know that they have been actively recruiting graduates from well known universities and offer them even better salaries than companies like Apple or microsoft.
So if any country is behind this, I say that country has only openned a can of warm and made itself a target.
Missed the BIg picture again?

Computer Terminology!
by Immortal Guard on Wed Aug 18, 2010 11:28 AM PDTThey should use Persian equivalent words for common computer terms. In other words instead of using "Systemhaaye Kaampiyuteri" they should say "Razhmaanhaaye Raayaaneyi" like the Persian terms they used for software and malware as "Narmafzaar" and "Badafzaar"!
