We should all be very proud to have an Iranian-American invited to such a prestigious event. Good job Maz!! He made is point across via comedy and most likely made some new fans. I'm glad he showed that Iranians can be funny, smart and nice. Though some of the commenters show that Iranians can be petty, catty and malicious. We should be supporting each other instead of  bringing each other down.

Maz is always very funny and I continue to be a fan of his work.

There are red lines that Maz Jobrani NEVER dares to cross. But he IS a funny guy and he wants to have a successful career in stand-up in America. That's the reason his comedy never becomes too political, at least for now, until he becomes as famous as this guy:

Racial comedy

Self deprecation has a huge market in the standup comedy world, and almost  all ethnic comedians find their niche right there; but he did it with a twist. That was smart.

He seemed witty, and with  a massage at his finale. My only suggestion to him would be try to cut out his own muffled giggles. This is a trade secret!! Tell jokes seriously.
