Neda Tavassoli

The real life of an Iranian-American

I am a daughter, a wife, a self-described goofball, a lifetime student looking for something substantial. Questions I get asked about having a family from Iran: Do you really have camels? Are you afraid of getting stoned (not of the drug kind)? Do you wear a burka? In the age where Iranians have become such a mystery to the point where they are feared, I want to challenge myths and show what life is really like being from the "Axis of Evil."

Great job, while making it light and entertaining

Farmarz jaan: Would you please start with our dearest friend, SP. Going thru the list of ajeeb o gharib on that poor soul should take long enough that you probably will never get to the rest of us.

DA: Considering that I stepped in dog pooo last night and how awful it was, I would not want to be zig zaging while crossing the street just to miss the shotor poo. That would be a mine field that will prove impossible to pass.

Dirty Angel

What a load of complete and utter - {insert -indescriptive}

by Dirty Angel on

one load of ignorant idiots posing ignorant idiotic so-called questions and another "answers" them and a whole of lot of others actually sit there and listen to this scenario.

Btw, what EXACTLY is wrong with not having a car and travelling by camel? I'd have animal rights issues, but I hardly think that these were in contention.

Since when is driving a car a great indicator of a civilization?

"What's three times worse than war?" "Three wars?"

Have asked for my money back

by kazem0574 on

Since seeing the Boycott.I.C.com.com Wako-leaks revelation, I contacted my shrink complaining that I was reading and commenting on I.C which is now known to be a proof of being totally mad and worst than that pro-Israeli.

He said some guys in white coats will call in later to discuss my money back claim.  ;-))

Neda Tavasoli by the way does a good job addressing a handful of some of the few hundred myths about Iran and Iranians.

You have been away for a while. Did you just get a kitchen pass for the weekend?

It has been fun coming to this site for the past 10 years , but now I have to leave and get help to deal with my mental illness. I would like to thank BoycottIraniandot.com for finally giving me the courage to seek help, may god bless you .

Just this one time I agree with Souri. Thanks! I have a couple of sites that pay me per click. Would you go and click on them as well?

BoycottIraniandotcom: You're just adding more clicks

by Souri on

By posting this comment in every single blog, you are just helping this very site to get more clicks.

Thank you so much!

BoycottIraniandotcom

Please warn visitors about this unhealthy site

by BoycottIraniandotcom on

As you can see from the articles, this purportedly Iranian site's content is
anti Iranian and comes largely from an Israeli/AIPAC perspective, which is
offensive to the vast majority of Iranians. The few Iranians who post here are
weird ("ajeeb") or mentally ill (some even admit their mental illness their
moniker.) Please do not engage with this unhealthy site except to warn other
Iranians.
