Serge Rezvani

Recipient of French Legion of Honor

Composer, painter and playwrite Serge Rezvani will be decorated for his contribution to French Arts by the French government with the Legion of Honor. See List of Recipients to the Legion of Honor this year in 2010. Rezvani was Born in Tehran, Iran in 1928, to an Iranian Father and Russian Mother. He became famous under the pseudo Cyrus Bassiak by composing the music scores of French New Wave Directors Francois Truffaut and Jean Luc Goddard for their respective films Jules et Jim (1962, in which he also appeared in a cameo role) and Pierrot le Fou (1965) >>> Video clips

What a nice post.  Agha Rezvani is an inspiration.  Such lovely, classic music!  So glad he is being honored with the French Legion of Honor.  Plus, he's not bad looking, either.  I hope I look as good when I'm his age!
