Dear Faramarz_Fateh
by areyo barzan on Fri Jan 08, 2010 07:01 AM PSTThere should be a Nuromberg style trial and they should all be sentenced to long jail sentences. Also all their assets and their foreign bank accounts needs to be confescated and returned to Iran's National Treasury
But no more killing, as that would be the easy option. instead they should be brought in front of world cmeras and put to shame for the crimes they commited also all the governments who supported them or betefited from their existence(Russia, China Labenon Syria ...) should be named, shamed and punished ecoconomically and humiliated internationally. Also a fromal complain has to be made to Hague International Court of Human rights about their conducts.
Exactly same as what happened to Nazis and their prepetrators after WW2.
There also needs to a an Interrational task force to haunt and bring into justice all of those IRI tieves and murderers who manage to run away at the 11th houre, just before IRI comes down. Exactley as Israelies did and are still doing about ex-Nazis and holocaust prepetrators who ran away to South America.
Who is the genius behind this video?
by MM on Fri Jan 08, 2010 12:37 AM PSTI thought that it started out as a propaganda for the regime, but then I started laughing. Very entertaining. I certainly did not know that the Ho in "Ho, Ho, Ho" stood for Hossein.
But, sad at the same time to think that this is 2010 and these idiots look, sound and act like a Fred Flintstone with a Mercedes.
Who is the genius behind this video?
Jahanshah, this is no milestone
by Pahlevan on Thu Jan 07, 2010 11:35 PM PSTThis regime has a 30-year history of torturing, raping and executing people for merely carrying banned books or distributing pamphlets, let alone openly opposing the government in the streets. This is no milestone for IRI; if anything the regime has become much softer in its dealing with the opposition compared to the Khomeini era due to several reasons including modern communication and information technologies that puts the regime under microscope.
No worries JJJ, there is still hope
by Faramarz_Fateh on Thu Jan 07, 2010 04:40 PM PSTto bring you to the avenging side. ;-)
You'll get along fine with my wife......Cumbaya my lord, cumbayA
Punishment
by Jahanshah Javid on Thu Jan 07, 2010 11:52 AM PSTIf the regime fell and democratic forces came to power, all those involved with crimes against humanity should be tried and punished. The accused should be tried in front of a jury. They should be represented by a lawyer. And their punishment should not be in any way arbitrary, cruel or inhuman.
I do not believe in vengeance. I do not believe in spilling blood in retaliation. Sorry to disappoint you, Faramarz :)
What I was referring to in my previous comment was that the upcoming execution of protesters will bring punishment in the form of fueling more anger and violent demonstrations and only deepen the crisis facing the Islamic Republic.
JJ in your opinion how should they pay?
by Faramarz_Fateh on Thu Jan 07, 2010 11:40 AM PSTJJ in your opinion how should they pay? For the people who order and carry out these executions, what penalty is fair?
Funny and sad
by Jahanshah Javid on Thu Jan 07, 2010 11:37 AM PSTThe funniest part was listening to the supporters of the regime who put Christians and Jews in their own camp. It seems it's all part of the campaign to brand protesters not only as enemies of the state, but enemies of Islam and god.
We are approaching a very very sad milestone: the execution of people for simple protest (not for murder or terrorism, not as "monafeghs", "communists", "spies" or "zionists", but just for opposing Khamenei and Ahmadinejad.
But this is not 1979. It is not 1988. It is not even 2008. The executions we're about to witness will not silence the opposition. The regime will pay a very heavy price. Boy will they pay...
