"This is my video art piece that tells the story of longing and explores the vicissitudes and complexities of Home and Identity. Being and Longing. It is the first in a series of 4 self portrait video art pieces. This piece was created and edited by me in isolation - from conception, shooting, performance, and editing. The song "Roozahe Roshan" by Hayedeh is a significant song for me personally and many other Iranians whose lives were forever changed after the decade long Iran Iraq war and the Islamic revolution. From the time I was a child my body cries to the sound of this song."

 ...  گرچه بیننده ی بینوا همواره در موقعیت منفعلی قرار داره ؛ اما از اونجاییکه حتی در مقام بیننده هم می باید مســُول بود؛ می باید در همین حالت انفعالی هم با ذهنی فعال و نگاهی روشن به پدیده ها نگاه کرد و هر جنس بنجلی رو به عنوان هنر نپذیرفت!ا 

حکایت این خانم "عصا" یا نمی دونم "آسا سلطان رحمتی" هم از همین دسته به نظر می رسه!ا  این عملیاتی که ایشون بهمراه پخش آهنگ مرحوم هایده انجام میده؛ کمترین دلیلی به بیننده نمیده که زیر و رو رفتن هاش رو احیانا نمادی از هنر محسوب کنه!ا حتی انتخاب لباس و طرز ارا ـُه ی صوری (ظاهری) ِ کار هم بسیار غیر حرفه ای انتخاب شده. ظاهر این خانم؛ بیشتر شبیه زنی ست بلافاصله بعد از تجربه ی سوُ رفتار (!)؛ و کمترین شباهتی به یک رقصنده ی هنرمند نداره. انتخاب لباس بنظر میرسه تنها یک هدف رو دنبال کرده و اونهم اندکی اروتیک بودنه؛ وگرنه رد  ِ پای  ِ هیچ نمادی که بیانگر هدفی باشه یافت نمیشه؛ از چادری که به شیوه ای بسیار متحجر در ثانیه های اولین دیده میشه ( و اساسا اگر بنا بر نماد سازی می بود؛ چادر می باید در لحظات آخرین بکار می رفت : " روز های روشن خدا حافظ" !!) تا یقه ی باز و سینه های آویزان و مرتعش؛ همگی مبتلا به یکجور بی هدفی و بلاهت ناپخته ای هستند. حالا بماند که این دست و پا زدن های ناموزون کمترین هماهنگی با موسیقی  ِ در حال ِ پخش  نداره و بنظر می رسه که سرکار علیه داره گِل ِ خودشو لگد می کنه و کمترین التفاطی به کلمات و بیان ِ آهنگین ِ رنج های مردمی از زبان مرحوم هایده نداره!ا

 تنها در دقایق آخرینه که رقاص؛ به نظر می رسه به ناگهان بیاد آورده که "رقص اساسا بیان سمبلیک مفاهیمه" و برای همین با شتاب بسیار سعی  ِ ناشیانه ای برای مفهوم سازی کرده که اونهم بدلیل ضیق وقت و استعداد؛ موفق نبوده!ا

 تنها فاکتور مثبت این ویدیو کلیپ؛ طنین صدای گوشنواز مرحوم هایده و ترانه ی زیبای " روز های روشن" ِ اوست!ا

all these years! You show them what they have been missing! are these mollah jealous about the other guys? BTW what kind of diet are you on? not 2 skinny, not 2 topol, just right! yummy!

Economy is bad, that's why she had to save on clothing around the tummy and breasts and good thing she doesn't believe in braws!

After being in prison all these years, don't you finally feel liberated? This is what real freedom for iranian women should look like! Show a lot of skins, and make us smile! Get it out of your system! Flip the bird to the morale police! Get even! Looking forward to seeing more skin, I mean more!

People come up with tasteless, pointless and sometimes stupid stuff and because they want to shove it down the other people's throat they call it artistic work or they claim that their work has a deeper meaning! so a viewer has to complement on their rubbish work in order to prove that he/she is  an intellectual!!

Usualy I askip this kind of video, but her dance, her "colors" and Hydeh`s magical voice and altogether the message it conveyed drew me to it. What a beautiful song.
