Caro Lucas

Renowned Iranian scientist, 1951-2010

Professor Lucas' died on Thursday from cancer. He was born to a middle class family of Iranian-Armenians. His father and mother were both from a central city in Iran, Isfahan. He was born in Isfahan but grew up in Tehran. His research interests included biological computing, computational intelligence, uncertain systems, intelligent control, neural networks, multiagent systems, data mining, business intelligence, financial modeling, knowledge management, systems science, and general design theory. Professor Lucas was elected as the honorable Iranian Science and Culture Hall of Fame - Eternal Figure (Persian: Chehreh ye Mandegar چهره ماندگار) in 2006 which is a great deal of respect with a high repute for Iranian scientists and artists to be elected to this position >>> Wikipedia
