God bless him! Condolences to his family and Iran!

Just talking about politics is not going to take us anywhere-we should all do good for Iran and humanity, as Mr. Lucas did. He showed to the people that iranians can be good for the world community without even talking about it. Good deed speaks louder than just typing words!

I am just curious as to how he acquired his name.

May this humble son Iran rest in peace!

As a student of professor

by nanopanir on

As a student of professor Lucas, I have been devastated by the news. He was a remarkable man, professor and mentor. I have never met, and will likely never meet, anyone as honest, as kind and as high spirited as he was.

Aside from his academic accomplishments, he has a lesson to teach to all of us Iranians: this is a man that could have had a wildly successful career anywhere in the world, but chose to stay in Iran. And unlike other professors, never ONCE did I hear him complain or whine about the circumstances. He had a beautiful peace with life, which he was able to transmit to his surroundings.

I still can not believe the news of his passing. Iran has lost a true legend.
