A poem by F. Mehrban, an Iranian poet in London, translated into English. Richard Tinder reads the poem BEAUTIFULLY. Mehrban was a political prisoner in Iran. Really lovely and touching:

by Arthimis on Tue May 25, 2010 11:10 PM PDTSuch an emotional & powerful poem and recitatiion, Bravo...Brought tears into my eyes, thinking of all those innocent human beings labled "Political Prisoners"!!! How fearful, viscious and egoist we still are in 2010 to kill and imprison people for not agreeing wth us!!!

by Nazy Kaviani on Tue May 25, 2010 11:52 AM PDTThis is an amazing clip. The poetry is so powerful, the images searing right through my mind. Mr. Tinder's recitation gives so much feeling and drama to the poem. The overall effect is really very beautiful. I wish I could read it in Farsi, too.
Where can we find F. Mehrban's poetry?
