Real McCoy
by Arthimis on Tue Jun 01, 2010 12:54 PM PDTYes, He did understand his poor ignorant people, but after 1400 years of backwardness gifted by Islam and worse its psycho leadres and followers to the entire region and Iran, he had a massive problem communicating with such massive ignorant and superstitious people.
Had he ruled in this time (2010), he could have educated masses with new technology, computer, internet and and and ...
And let's NOT forget who selected psycho-path /serial killer to be the next ruler of Iran!!! Took him where he was exiled to (Irag) and brought him all the way to London/ England for training and finalizing the contract (FREE IRANIAN OIL & GAS....) and later to "Neauphel-Le-Chateau" and gave the bastard their BBC, Voice of America, Le Figaru and all the world media to his service and millions of $$ to him so he could communicate with the ignorants inside IRAN properly through ISLAM!!!And finally to be brought in Air F@$king France held him down the starirs and deliver him to the ignorants as the new leader of IRAN!!!!!!!!!!! The West, decided who should be our leader in Iran!!!!!! That is the ultimate insult and crime...
Are you kidding me (us, true Iranians) Mr. McCoy? or are you just another True Non- Iranian and worse seriously unaware of what really happened??? I suggest , you look deeper , much deeper into what really happened Sir!!! IRAN has been the 2nd natural oil and gas producer in THE WORLD, OK!!! Can you comprehend the caliber and magnitude of this HOLY-LAND named IRAN???And to what extent the world powers have gone and still will go to suck her treasures and wealth dry??? Can you Sir?
For God sake.......................
Multiligual Shah on June, 1st.

The answer, whatever it might be won't help us now.
Red Wine Jaan,
by Arthimis on Mon May 31, 2010 11:31 PM PDTYou have a talent and good graphic ideas, but to compare Shah with Mir Hussein? I mean for the love of GOD!!!
Shah (bless his soul) directly ordered his Imperial Armed forces (4th military in the world) and his highest ranking generals NOT to kill Iranians during the revolution 1979!!! (Unlike the Mullahs, Hezbolahis and basijis in the past 31 years of occupation...) Iranian military and security forces could have ran people over with tanks in Tehran and many major cities... Even if people would eventually win, he could have killed at least hundred thousands... Which he didn't because he loved Iran and his people no matter how ignorant they were... He had a heart and was a GOD fearing human being with sensetive and sophisticated soul...
To this day in May 31, 2010 , there is NOT a single leader in the Middle East (Hell, not even one leader in Europe, Americas and the rest of the world) who could READ, WRITE AND SPEAK IN PERSIAN, ENGLISH, FRENCH AND COMMUNICATE WITH THE WORLD IN THEIR OWN LANGUAGES AND CULTURES DURING OFFICIAL VISITS AND GLOBAL PRESS INTERVIEW!!!
There is NOT yet one leader who was/is as educated and multi talented (sport and hobbies...) as he was....
He had glorious plans of prosperity and over all security and happiness for Iran and Iranians... Lack of Technology and communication capacity of that era worked against him and Iran as a whole...
Shah and his Father were the true revolutionaries of Iran Zamin, but unfortunately we have so many non-Iranians who would rather commit treason against Motherland with likes of Mullas and fanatic muslims than protecting our beloved and badly wounded Motherland, Iran!!!!
To truly find God, man needs CONSCIOUSNESS , NOT any religion!
Long Live Iran and true Iranians.

by statira on Mon May 31, 2010 01:00 PM PDTIt's a honor for Mousavi to be compared to Shah. Who wants to be compared to backwarded antars such as khomeini/Khamenei, Ahmaghinejes. Those are disgrace to our people and history.
Shah was a true regal!
by pastor bill rennick on Mon May 31, 2010 10:57 AM PDTMir Hossain Mousavi is a genuine Ham-Mall! No comparisons or analogies can apply here!
ha ha, he he ... (muffled laughter)
by hamsade ghadimi on Mon May 31, 2010 09:55 AM PDTthe only comparison i find between the two figures is that niether took (is taking) responsibility of their past failures (other than maybe "i have not been perfect!" or "mistakes were made!"). still, i can see how pro shah people find it offensive while pro-mousavi people should take it as a compliment (mousavi never had a fraction of power or popularity of shah). nonetheless, i find the artwork fantastic.

Reactionaries
by divaneh on Mon May 31, 2010 06:48 AM PDTI don’t know why some people have to immediately react to anything that they perceive as a criticise of Pahlavis. We all have different appreciation for what Pahlavis did, but in this work Red Wine has elevated Mousavi by superimposing his face on Shah's portrait. Have you read his comment at the bottom of the artwork?

But it would carry the message a lot better if you'd tried khamenei's photo shop with late Mohammad Reza pahlavi's favorite photo. ( he was in love with the expansion of Royal navy). Maziar
BAD COMPARISON.
what he deserves
by fozolie on Sun May 30, 2010 05:25 PM PDTLike all the other errant children of the revolution he will be devoured by the same revolution. The Evin prison was expanded under the stewardship of the same idealogues. These people have no shame as there is no comparison of their crimes compared to the ancien regime.
