connect the dots, no fear

how is there ever going to be rapprochement if individuals are a priori censured, boycotted, imprisoned, because they happen to be born into a certain religion or country? or also have a 'history' of visiting a country for which you have an obsessive aversion? or even, for argument's sake, a justified aversion of its government? are you suggesting you have restrospective power to dictate the 'history' of individuals over whom you have no dictatorial sovereignty? but i guess you do have.

why not climb down, and choose the path of hospitality?

even if these individuals, who don't represent a government policy, are 'guilty by association', and many wouldn't consider it so, did they not come to see some of the most beautiful mountains in your beautiful country? you do concede that your country is beautful. maybe they naively do not distinguish between 'kurdish' and 'regular' iranian land? it's encouraging that you do recognize this distinction. 

Kurdistan is actually a bus tour destination in Iran.

We were going to take a bus tour to Kurdistan last year but chose another destination.  Plan to visit Kurdistan one day.

Some simple facts , you connect the dots

1- They were caught illegally in Iran with NO proper documentations.

2- Going for a hike in an area filled with kurdish militia is not your regular hiking trip.

3- They were days away from the nearest kurdish town when caught.

4- They were in areas which are controlled by PEJAK.

5- Israel and US , support and train kurdish seperatists including PEJAK.

6- The hikers are connected to Israel by religion or travel history.

Bavafa, If those mothers were like Sara Palin, Hillary Clinton and some others, specially in republicans, world would be hell.

I talked to some Americans and asked their opinions. They said, it is not their fault. It is Iran's fault for being located on the way of the hikers.  So again, Iran is to blame and Americans are to be forgiven.
