I am wondering
by hazratee on Mon Nov 08, 2010 07:38 PM PSTHow can she create and read these poems and get a way with it in that “makhoof “ place? I guess they don't care anymore. She tells everything so bluntly with no fear what so ever.
Just one word......"BRAVE"
by Majid on Mon Nov 08, 2010 04:17 PM PSTIt's HER world some of us living in!
Our future president
by statira on Mon Nov 08, 2010 03:53 PM PSTShe deserve to be Iran's next and the first female president. She is patriot, intelligent and modern unlike our current president. She is also brave unlike the current leaders of the Green movement.
Anahid aziz: thank you for
by vildemose on Mon Nov 08, 2010 01:40 PM PSTAnahid aziz: thank you for the inside scoop. She is an amzaingly gifted and beautiful poet.
Dear vildemose, she is safe but...
by Anahid Hojjati on Mon Nov 08, 2010 01:31 PM PSTShe is as safe as any outspoken person can be in Iran. However, Iran is a country that loves its poets. she is a very beloved poet and IRI would be stupid to do anything to her but then you know how brutal they can be. For now, she is ok. Recently, jokingly she indicated on her facebook posting that after some time she visited a cultural gathering and rather than being introduced by her name, gardanande called her "yeki az sarane fetne". Please note that the person was doing that as a compliment to Hila and because of her courageous poems.
