Ms. Tabooshekan
by Jahanshah Javid on Fri Oct 08, 2010 07:08 AM PDTThanks Setareh! If I ever get caught and accused of breaking taboos, I'll say it's all your fault!!! Your stories and commentaries are easily among the most courageous, fascinating and enjoyable on this site. Can't thank you enough for sharing your mighty pen with all of us.
akhaay, farsieh ravoon!
by Setareh Sabety on Fri Oct 08, 2010 06:44 AM PDTFantastic intreview Jahanshah joon. You make us all proud. So good to hear good 'ravoon' persian. Loved the 'adab az keh amookhti'! If Mousavi spoke as well as you we would all be home right now! Even before AN's election iranian.com was blocked in Iran. 'Taboo shekani' term which the interviewer used I don't like why not just say 'bot shekani'? Anyway, proud to be one of the taboo shekans here!
Way to go JJ...shine brother shine ;)))
by 13th Legion on Fri Oct 08, 2010 06:10 AM PDTCongratulations, IC has come a looooong way, I remember the early days of IC about 15 years ago, jees time fly’s, don’t it! ;) I admire you for your perseverance and not giving up on this project despite through going through all the peaks and valleys.
I think Azarin has a great point, perhaps the next exiting step for IC would be an IC Radio with a morning show hosted by you! By now you have all the credibility and experience to be able to attract some investors for such a project (Investors, NOT partners) its food for thought!
I am also happy to see that the readers are starting to become more tolerant and respectful toward one another despite their different viewpoints and believes, I hope this attitude continues to grow among the readers and bloggers on IC., perhaps there is much hope for us all ;)
Cheers,

Interview, Greek or Persian village ;o)
by Rea on Fri Oct 08, 2010 05:21 AM PDTIn the meantime, made sure this site is widely read in Eastern Europe.
For better or for worse.
Thanks & ...
by Jahanshah Javid on Fri Oct 08, 2010 04:38 AM PDTFaryar, thanks for your kind words. I should always remind myself to do more on human rights issues.

Thanks Monda! Whatever achievements there have been is shared by all who have contributed their thoughts and feelings here.

Mamnoonam Azarin :)
You're not going to say which part of the interview you disagreed with? How un-iranian.com!
*
Thanks DK! You practically own this site. Long live the king! :)
*
Sorry to disappoint you Comrade. I didn't write anything in iranian.com about future possibilities because it is still not a done deal. In the private sector, things can change on a daily basis until a contract is signed. I am hopeful though.
You broke my heart!
by comrade on Fri Oct 08, 2010 02:59 AM PDTI thought we were buddies JJ, until I heard the news about IC's upcoming merger, or partnership with an outsider on a radio station financed by a foreign country and not from you right here at home, at IC. I thought all those flags and deletions and blockings meant something to you. You cold-blooded mass murderer...
Apart from that, a good one...
Never increase, beyond what is necessary, the number of entities required to explain anything.
Great Interview
by Darius Kadivar on Fri Oct 08, 2010 02:43 AM PDTCongrats !
Very nice!
by Azarin Sadegh on Fri Oct 08, 2010 12:10 AM PDTSuch a great plan for the next generation of IC! So exciting! I love the idea of an Iranian fb...but (sigh sigh) there goes my big plan of IC & FB detox..:-(
The rest of your interview also was wonderful....I just disagree with one of your points!
Also, you sound very nice...you could make your own Iranian.com Radio where you have your own morning shows to give us a few im-moralistic advice, and later every IC political analyst, writer, and poet would have the option of broadcasting the reading of their essays and stories and poems and musicians could play and sing ....and of course all paid-members have the possibility of chatting live with the authors in the evenings...to praise or to criticize them. But on a second thought, it is going to be way harder to monitor or to moderate!
Good luck anyway with everything and I wish you the best!
Thanks again! Az.
I agree wıth Faryarm
by Monda on Fri Oct 08, 2010 12:06 AM PDTMaybe it is time to expand on your accomplishments through thıs sıte.
Keep up your great work Jahanshah jan.
You also underestimated ...
by faryarm on Thu Oct 07, 2010 11:32 PM PDTThe next time you are asked about Iranian.com's achievements, you should proudly mention its role as a pioneer in breaking cultural taboos in the discussion and focus on Human Rights in Iran at a time when it was not so fashionable.
After all these years
by Flying Solo on Thu Oct 07, 2010 10:17 PM PDTMy most favorite story remains the same - after all these years.

Thanks
by Jahanshah Javid on Thu Oct 07, 2010 09:49 PM PDTThanks Solo. It's people like you who make this site what it is.
(By the way, our good CTO Foaad just informed me that I underestimated the absolute unique visitors to iranian.com by half! The actual number is closer to 240,000 per month.)
Great interview
by Flying Solo on Thu Oct 07, 2010 09:42 PM PDTWell done Jahanshah. Keep up the good work.
