People change . . . We need OPEN communications.

by Javadagha on

Give us a break, people change.... JJ used to support IRI.

Fred again is taking things personally.  Fred, you prove what many of have said: you are an idiot.

We need open communication.  This way problems will be exposed, NOT sanctions, hate, and name calling!!

MRX1

Worrying too much

by MRX1 on

This woman wanted a free trip and she got one, that's all. no need to worry about it so much. The only thing is, people in Iran picked up the tab. Now if we lived in sane, modern  and orderly society one will have a right to get  pissed off and complain. However we live in omatestan with no accountibility. The regime has spent billions upon billions on old out dated soviet nuclear plant, missiles, you name it (I didn't hear any body companin about that). The money they spent for this junket is peanuts in comparison.so relax and enjoy your weekend.

P.S

may be she is an assistant to the resident impreliast fighter ardeshir omani!

She is a snake

by narmakmk on

During the 80's, she was a full blooded communist, 90's she started selling paints and wall papers, and now she is trying to pave the road between us and them, not. All she is after is a free ride to financial opportunities. She hated the mullahs and now she is Antarinejad's body when he shows up in N.Y every year.Shamful.

Resident Islamists

by Fred on

What is with  “politically mature” thing the resident Islamists use to describe this band-andaz lady?

Javadagha

Fred, the idiot

by Javadagha on

Fred, you keep posting stupid comments and you seem to be the first one!! to post stupid comments, what a coincident?!!

She is a brave woman who is politically mature.  We need people like her to change Iran for better.

Ali P.

6th grade

by Ali P. on

I am not commenting on her views, but, she (Ms. Shafazand) spoke as if she has a 6th grade education. She would start a sentence, and before finishing it, would start another one. And how many times did she say "masalan"?

I wonder what expertise she used on her resume` to get invited.

hamsade ghadimi

truly shameful

by hamsade ghadimi on

i saw almost the entire interview.  the interviewer did not do a very good job: too emotional, limited vocabulary, did not have any control over the interview.  she looked like she's going to have a heart attack for the entire interview.  the interviewee did a very good job to express the opinion of someone who has no empathy for the hardship of iranians in a brutal dictatorship and someone who is direclty legitimizing that dictatorship for self-gain.  her initial statement: "i go to iran every summer, so i wanted to take advantage of this opportunity to go to iran."  az ghadima migoftan: "kaah keh az khodet nist, kaahdoon keh az khodeteh."

ZZFARROKH

This Lady is well known in

by ZZFARROKH on

This Lady is well known in Washington DC area. Every year she put “lachak” (rosary) on and goes to New York to meet with president ahmady nejad. She is total embarrassment to Iranian movement. In my opinion she is just looking for attention & free lunch.  SHAME ON YOU.

MOOSIRvaPIAZ

She is politically mature

by MOOSIRvaPIAZ on

not that i agree with everything she has to say but compared with a good number of ill-informed, not to mention childish idealist arm-chair regime advocate expats we have here, she is the politically mature one.
