Behdad Salimi
Iran's Behdad Salimi has won one gold and two silver medals in the men's +105 kg category at the 2010 World Weightlifting Championships. Salimi lifted 208kg in Snatch to win his first silver and got his second silver in Clean & Jerk where he performed 245kg. He won the gold medal in Total with 453kg. Salimi is the second Iranian weightlifter after Hossein Rezazadeh to become the heavyweight world champion. The 2010 World Weightlifting Championships is held in the Turkish city of Antalya September 17-26.
