Had he taking care of people instead of serving the foreigners and his corrupt circle of drug dealers and prostitutes, there wouldn't be no need to a revolution. He got what he deserved and the rest of his family should have been put on trials.
What Kourosh did 2500 years ago is no credit to an incompetent useless Pahlavi and the crimes some in IRI have committed is not going to help their case. Iran today wants to become independent and independent she will become.

My Iranian people
by Parthianshot91 on Sun Sep 26, 2010 11:48 PM PDTMay the people who betrayed the shah burn in hell fire for ever.
Further more, It was the fualt of America itself, they were the one's who funded Khomanie and his shameless islamist goons and any other anti-shah group they could get their hands on, infact jimmy carter put about 200 million dollars into khomanie's account.
70% of the Iranian population was born AFTER the revolution and the youth today are fighting and dying for the future of Iran, their childrens future, and it's people, I couldn't be more proud of the struggle of Iranians today. Don't go pointing fingers at our people now.

Those who betrayed Shah in 1979, were traitors to Irans Poor.
by AlexInFlorida on Sun Sep 26, 2010 11:15 PM PDTThe Days of Wealth, growth, modernity, development, free education and well being have been gone for a long time now.
Surely Shah must be badly missed? Not every Iranian can be Ignorant can they?
To think that the west, deceitfully/purposely labelled Shah a dictator in order to first trick iranians into betraying the Shah and then getting them to support their #1 man Khomeini who with Saddam would help weaken and control Iran should surprise no one.
Iran has oil, all developed countries wanted to control it and Shah wanted to use the oil to help Iranians realize Freedom no matter their class or station in life.
Shame on Iranians for not having the last word on their own future and betraying their 2500 year old national institution of tolerance, freedom and majestic monarchy.
How is Shia Islam working for you now?
Iran has the world's second
by AMIR1973 on Sun Sep 26, 2010 08:39 PM PDTIran has the world's second largest natural gas reserves and third largest oil reserves (plus a whole host of other natural and human resources). Despite 31 years of oil and natural gas revenues, the IRI's infant mortality is ranked either 119 or 155 (depending on which sources one looks at)--lower than many places much poorer than Iran. Its life expectancy is either 103, 109 or 132 (again depending on the source). How pathetic! But then again, the IRI Groupies here on Iranian.com live in the West, so they could afford to vomit up silly pro-IRI propaganda.
Yes, indeed such conditions
by mohsenp on Sun Sep 26, 2010 08:38 PM PDTYes, indeed such conditions are hard to take anywhere specially in Iran. As Ahmadinejad said, if he wants to read and listen to everyone's opinion, there are 70 million of them and everyone plays a different tune. So all he can do is to try and do the right things for the country and people. He has tried in many ways to make life easier for the poor, despite all the criticisms he has been getting from the corrupt criminals in the system and the political prostitutes abroad call it Geda Parvari. Well, what is it? So what should Ahmadinejad do? If he help the poor, he is geda parvar. If he doesn't, then he is responsible for the problems.
I think, Government should provide loans to improve agriculture in villages and back that with low cost housing, so they have a place to live and work, instead of building multi story buildings in and around big cities. Otherwise, villagers will keep immigrating to the cities and increase the population, crimes, pollution, cost of living, shortage of food due to increased population and decrease in agriculture and some other problems. This will serve the lower class and less academically educated which are living in poverty such as this woman. Instead of living in and around large cities and trying to make a living by picking up wasted materials and etc.
Maybe sometimes we should discuss some ideas to fix the problems instead of always bitching about it.

by Sargord Pirouz on Sun Sep 26, 2010 08:08 PM PDTWow. A lot of you guys get really upset when I put things into a contextual framework beyond that of just Iran.
Just think if I was cursing America the way you do Iran, over my American cousin's foreclosure. Would you think that was acceptable.? I don't.
But yet it's okay for you to do so in the instance, viewing this YouTube clip.
And yes, I think in your cases it's unacceptable behavior. That is to say you are self-hating, and to a degree sociopathic.

by mohsenp on Sun Sep 26, 2010 03:30 PM PDTOnce again bunch of zaloos are smelling blood.
Tell me what have you done for Iran and poor Iranians? Nothing, right?
If it wasn't for Ahmadinejad helping the poor, the number of such individuals would be thousand times more than what it is now. The problems are the corrupt individuals in the system who are robing the country with Rafsanjani on the top, whom you and west is defending. They should be arrested and their wealth should be confiscated and distributed among the poor. Who tried to bring the interest rates down so such individuals can get loan? Ahmadinejad. Who is helping them by distributing food? Ahmadinejad. Then you and you boss calls that, Geda parvari. You truly deserve the title of "Past Fetrat"
Another problem is traitors and criminals like you who support sanctions. You are just as guilty as the west and Israel. Had it not been for your sanctions, chances are this woman wouldn't have loss her house. One fool here wrote, so the sanctions don't have any effect? Well fool, didn't you all said that the sanctions will effect the government not the public? So what happen. So what is with supporting the sanctions if you see effecting the public and you claim to be for the people? The blood of the poor and political prisoners are on your hands.
Of course, sanctions will effect the public, but in the long run it will make Iran stronger if Iran make the right moved toward independence. The situation in America is worse than Iran despite no sanctions and threats and pressure. Many have loss their homes and are living in tents around the cities, in salvation army and in trains and buses and with other family members. Many have committed suicide and killed their whole family and many are prostituting themselves as some of you have.
If you want to hear more just ask for it!

by Kooshan on Sun Sep 26, 2010 02:30 PM PDTI'm so saddened and my heart goes for the lady and her likes.
I resent those who exploit agony of human beings in distress like her for their political selfish views....in my mind they are same or worse than a government who does not "supposedly" have done it's job for the citizens. There is no damn good justification for us to sit in the comfort of our home and use her to prove our political gains.
Thefactis that there are cases like this all over the world. But that does not justify us just doing nothing and accepting to live with it. The key point isTO DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT.
I wish there was a non-profit organization that would take cases like this in real-time and mobilize people inside and abroad to help them.
If a person facing eviction
by Sargord Pirouz on Sun Sep 26, 2010 01:39 PM PDTIf a person facing eviction in the US had done this, they would either be whisked off to the local pysch unit at the hospital, or they would face arrest and be taken to the nearest local jail.
And I dont have to tell you how many arrests and incidents have taken place here in the US following the recent mortgage crisis.
Sad, yes, but I would bet there's been a heck of a lot more home loss evictions in the US over the past 3 years, than there has been in Iran. (It happened to one of my American cousins).

No Tears in AN’s Eyes!!!!
by Demo on Sun Sep 26, 2010 08:14 AM PDTIn the face of 60% of our population living below the poverty line (per regime's own sayings) Ahmadinejad did not say a single word about such problem in his UN frivolous talks even though the “world poverty” was the meeting main theme. That is of no surprise as long as the regime spends billions of people money to buy missiles from China & Russia, make humongous annual donations to Bolivia, Lebanon, and etc., and invests heavily in military industry. Like showing indifference & denying of the murder and of the killing of defenseless students in their dormitories & in the streets, the desperate cry of this poor woman for help must be all acting in AN’s eyes.
