Iranian of the Day

I met Sarah Tadayon at the San Francisco Iranian Film Festival last weekend. What a lovely young woman she is! Sarah's father is Iranian and her mother is Taiwanese. With her beautiful and exotic look, and her ability to speak multiple languages, she has been cast in many different parts, playing roles of women from different ethnic backgrounds, but she has never been cast as an Iranian, she told me! She is proud of her Iranian heritage and is interested in reaching out to the Iranian community. It would be wonderful to see her play Iranian roles in good movies in the future.
