Nothing MKO can say will make them acceptable to Iranians

by BoosBoos on

" by Delavar1 on but MKO's ideology has changed dramatically. " ------------------- It doesn't matter whether the MKO's ideology has changed - they participated in aiding a foreign government (Iraq) to invade my country and participated in causing a million deaths and billions in damage.  Treason is treason ... there is no statute of limitations on murder.

but MKO's ideology has changed dramatically. They can also help to topple the terrorist regime in Iran. That doesn't mean they should take over. Remember The way Khomeini won was that all groups were united against the Shah. whether it was MKO, Nationalists or communists, they all wanted a regime change

Iranians Are Winning

by BoosBoos on

by Delavar1 on In the Iranian case though, Nationalist and Monarchists despise MKO and the communists. MKO and communists despise Monarchists and Nationalists; so on and soforth. We will never win this way."

---------

It depends what you mean by "winning" -- I define "winning" as keeping MEK (a cult-like terror organization under the influence of foreign governments totally hostile to Iran) out of the lives of ordinary Iranians.   As long as this group is relegated to the dusty fields of some Iraqi desert or to a prison cell, the Iranian people are winning.

Why is it that the Arabs

by Delavar1 on

Why is it that the Arabs are winning to rid of their dicators but the Iranians are losing and being imprisoned/tortured/raped by the Islamic regime in Iran and they can't do a damn thing? The answer is unity. The Arab nations are united against their dictators whether they are nationalist , communist or even those few Islamists, they all united. Look at Libia, look at Tunesia. All they have in mind is to reach democracy and then they will decide what type of democratic govt is more appropriate for their nations

In the Iranian case though, Nationalist and Monarchists despise MKO and the communists. MKO and communists despise Monarchists and Nationalists; so on and soforth. We will never win this way. In a few years even Afghanistan will be a better nation than Iran.

Souri, I am sure JJ can speak for himself....

by Roozbeh_Gilani on

I'll promise to behave myself in future and will tell MG, hooshang and RB during the next central committee meeting to behave themselves in future, or else, Gulaks for all three of them.

But I raised three points as to why so many  blogs on MKO (pro or aginst) are counter productive... but never mind and thanks for your time.

"Personal business must yield to collective interest."

Sadly, what motivates such revolutionaries is "Ideology".

by jasonrobardas on

To such men,  the "Ideology" becomes  "The shining light on the hill" .

If they succeed , it is no more the people that matter .......They can not wait to form a system dictated by the suppresive and restrictive  frame work of their "ideology".

JJ is free to feature whatever he wants

by Souri on

This is his site!

It is up to you and me, to use our time and energy wisely, not to waste it over and over on the same topic with the same people.

To be honest Roozbeh jon, most of the times, it is you and (Hooshang = MG = RB) who add the fuel to the fire in most of the discussion.

This is good of course, becaue it shows your passion and interest for our country, nothing against that. But at the same time, you can't be the first one who come here to complain about the number of the featured blogs agaisnt the MKO. Could you?

Just a friendly remark. Hope you take it as friendly as it is given :)

Bests;

Souri, I guess only JJ knows the answer to my question

by Roozbeh_Gilani on

As to why so many blogs and comments dedicated to attacking MKO are featured on this site., despite the point on which I and you the "keyboard fighters" did agree on.

A few points to consider before featutring so many blogs (almost all, hostile) to MKO:

1)A militant alternative to "reform":  Islamist regime is not frightened of MKO per se (though MKO does give them sleepless nights due to spilling the beans on their nuke programe , etc). IRI is frightened of the militant, non compromising revolutionary perspective MKO is adhering to, and very rightly so. That explains the very high level of attacks on this basically dysfunctional organisation.

2) Distraction: Every featured blog and discussion dedicating to an attack on MKO, deprives another very worthy discussion/blog about real struggle and challenges our people face in our beloved land Iran. Good for regime

3)Division: Debates on MKO are highly divisive. People who'd otherwise agree on the need for removal (or serious reform) of IRI, end up as enemies Good for the regime.

my two cents

"Personal business must yield to collective interest."

why them ?

by maziar 58 on

Deep down  I think the west and the lot of anti regime is aiming at a wrong (dead wrong) alternative to deal with the mollahs

Rather than putting a tight grip a la civilized way to bring the regime to his knees .

So god! help us all.

Your question......

by Souri on

I think 1-too much time is spent on this forum attacking this 2-"cult" of
3-"few thousand  middle aged fanatics"  with 4-"zero support" in Iran.

1- I think too much time is wasted on this forum, either about the MKO or other subjects. People do not learn or are not motivated to spend their time, wisely and productively. Tired of hearing same arguments and same insluting words, over and over, from the same people.

2- I rarely use the word cult, because I don't see any meaning to this. Did I use this word somewhere which you are referring to now? Then, my bad. That was not intentional.

3- Absolutey true! One can not describe this group, better than this!

4- Not sure, because I don't live in Iran. But I do  believe it might be true. Same goes for other old organizations. I think the young Iranians, are more objectively involved with their priorities  than we, the Western citizens, think we are.

At the end, I do believe that most of the hayahoo is really pointless.

The process has started with no effort or even knowledge of any of us. And the reason for that, is beyond you and me (the ordinary keyboard fighters) imagination. So, we can talk about it, of course, why not? But there's little which we can change in this process.

I have a lot to say about it, but honestly I think this is an American-based site and not the very good place to talk about everything I do believe in.
and what for?

I will have your answer posted here in a little time.

Thanks for being patient.

Thanks Suri and a question for you

by Roozbeh_Gilani on

I think too much time is spent on this forum attacking this "cult" of "few thousand  middle aged fanatics"  with "zero support" in Iran.

Why do you think it is?

Roozbeh

This video is made and aired by the MKO's TV, itself.

So we believe it is correct to call it the Official version.

Roozbeh_Gilani

"official version"

by Roozbeh_Gilani on

and which "office", if I might enquire, without being accused of being Masoud's ex body guard, turned Maryam's current lover?
