My Name Is Borat

Very Sad

by My Name Is Borat on

Mr. Badiyi's impact on TV continues to this day.

Not only did he direct episodes of the original Hawaii Five-0 he created the opening montage. If you have ever watched the new version, the opening is an homage to Mr. Badiyi's creation in 1968.

Look at TV shows today that still use an opening montage to introduce the show. They are all imitations of Mr. Badiyi's work.

May he rest in peace.

At least spell his name right!

by bahmani on

In trying to be a "reporter" who "breaking the story" the least you can do is properly spell his name right.

This was an inherently honorable man with a more than honorable contribution to the world. Please respect his name and legacy with this attempt at a memoriam.

The correct spelling of his name is Badiyi.

For a proper review of his life please read D. Kadivar's piece.
