by Azarin Sadegh on Thu Aug 04, 2011 01:31 AM PDTI love Azari dance, and I think in this video the dancers are amazing...but the music is kind of bizarre. It is not what I expected. But overall, this is great entertainment! Yashasin! chok gozal...:-)
Azari people are precious piece of Iran.
by Bahram G on Wed Aug 03, 2011 09:56 PM PDTI am not Azari, yet I appreciate their rich cultural heritage and their longstanding contributions to our common homeland. May they do all they can to safeguard their tradition and remain a pillar of Iran at the same time.

by Mohammad Ala on Wed Aug 03, 2011 08:51 PM PDTEla da muceghee pis dair. One could hear Azeri (Iranian version which is mixed with our language (Persian) melodi.
Azeri's make up the greatest minority in Iran. Ajar Iran olmasa, manim vojodim olma sin (Cho Iran nabshad, tan-e man mabad :-)
The music overlay sucks the life right out of the dance!

A question for JJ or anyone else
by Bahram G on Wed Aug 03, 2011 04:50 PM PDTI am not able to participate in this forum using my iPad. I can read the blogs, but when I want to write something like what I am doing now, it doesn't go through. I can only type in the "subject" box. When I try to type in the "comment" box it doesn't work. I get bounced back with the demand that I must have something in the comment box, but doesn't tell me how I can do that.
Why? Is there a way to overcome this problem so that I can participate using my iPad? Appreciate any help with this.

by Mash Ghasem on Wed Aug 03, 2011 09:03 AM PDTThis was ok, but for a proper performance see the Georgian National Dance Company, they take these Caucasian dances to a new level. I'll try to find it.
Mean time have some Rastak, and:

P.S. Pay special attention from 2:00 to 2:30, that's Ashigh Lir. Does anyone has some Ashigh Lir music to post. Couldn't find any.
