BBC: The Iranian film A Separation - which has won many international awards such as the Golden Bear award in Berlin - has its sights on a possible Oscar after a nomination at the Golden Globe awards. Its director, Asghar Farhadi, who struggled for two years to get script approval from the Iranian authorities has since won awards at home and has been camera shy ever since his global success. In this rare interview he says that he wants viewers to reflect once they leave the auditorium.

by RostamZ on Sat Dec 24, 2011 08:48 AM PSTIt is great that the mullahs could not squash the art in Iran even though they tried very hard. It is also sad to see some of their goons make comments and relating the movie success to political atmosphere on this website.
