Two questions or rather comments

First, I wonder why is it that all high ranking military staff in middle east, Iran in particular, are so fat?

I mean have you seen one general that is in a good shape and fit physically? Yet many in general public suffer from poverty and malnutrition.

Also a question for those who on one hand mock and ridicule Iranian armed forces any time they get a chance, yet constantly speak of Iran as a existential military threat to Israel.
