Define boyfriend?
by Parthianshot91 on Sat Jan 01, 2011 10:35 PM PSTYou mean in a sense of them being friends or doing things to eachother? If you mean just them being friends, then in that case I got multiple girls that I happen to be friends with. I don't know.....

by Doctor mohandes on Sat Jan 01, 2011 04:39 PM PSTI am basing my claim on the current and common trends in our sociey which has embraced an even more progressive definition of BF than that of the oldies! hell. I don't even need sources, I see it with my own two eyes:))
I guess at the end of the day "to each her own" would be the right thing to say.

by Ali P. on Sat Jan 01, 2011 04:32 PM PSTBelieve it or not, the term "boyfriend" didn't always mean "physical intimacy". Even many Americans, in the 50's and 60's, were virgins on the eve of their wedding, despite having had 'boyfriends'.
Things changes in the 70's.
Even today, my sources tell me, most (female) teenagers have boyfriends- a special boy, they like and hang out with- in high school. Many choose to get intimate, while some choose not to.
Each to her own.

Virginity
by Ali P. on Sat Jan 01, 2011 03:33 PM PSTBy now, I believe most Iranians have recognized and accepted the fact that their daughter may be interested in a particular boy.
It is the sexual activities that many may have a problem with. Having a boyfriend in the US, does not necessarily mean sexual activity. I presume the same applies in Iran.
