Ahmadinejad's comments about 9/11 in New York had a different audience thousands of miles away. Only a simplistic ordinary observer would take such rhetorics seriously based on their literary values.

There is no denying that Ahmadinejad has adopted a confrontational and aggressive foreign policy. While this method might not be to our personal taste liking, it has been a very successful method for our administration to advance their goals. Unlike the disasterous results of the reformist government who were bending backwards for appeasing european countries, the current administration raised the stakes so high in the nuclear standoff that the european countries were caught off guard.

For example, when the european countries were united against Iran enriching at 3 percent level, Iran announced that it has started 20 percent enrichment. Now the european countries are not concerned about the 3 percent anymore and would gladly accept a deal at 3 percent if we stop at 20. This is a very successful method, unlike what the reformists did by halting our enrichment entirely for confidence building measures. How weak is that?

oh... but i guess the reformist looked better and they were invited to dinners hosted by european countries.  Pathetic ....

I go back in mind and think about US operation and economy since WWII. What wars has the US won? None. IS the economy better not than 1945? No. Economic gain made during WWII and the value of the dollar has been waisted.

The issue of the US sticking its noise in everyone´s butt is evident.

I think both Mahmoud and the US politician are more alike than different. The take care of your own first and worry about everyone else next is not something either do. Case in point Iran giving money away to half a dozen countries. Case in point US giving money away to over a dozen countries.

One last point. You know Mexico is number 11 in the world economically. Which is better than where Iran will be in 2015! Internal issues and your own people first.

It is not that I am saying he should just not talk. I am more at a loss than anything else.

There are mountains of domestic issues. A president should have that in mind. So, why should be go to NY and say 9/11 is a US government operation? How does that help his own?

There is no argument that the economy of Iran has grown under him. Even those that hate the man can not deny that. Subsidies being eliminated IMO should not have applied to public transportation and a few other areas but that is another conversation.

Good point about China. Investing and educating the young should be every country´s first goal.

Escape

Oh that's funny about China J.S.

China is concerned with their future.Their kids are too busy studying to become creative. They are concerned in the future they will not be able to think up new ideas to compete on a world level. They are concerned they have no artistic creativity, they have a lack of imaginitive minds.

There once was a great U.S. inventor. His teachers told him to go home and don't come back to school. He was too busy day dreaming. He had like a 3rd grade education. His name was Thomas Edison. His day dreaming went on to invent some of mankinds greatest inventions including the light bulb.

Dr. Ahmadinejad is the first right wing politician who has become president in Iran. The leftwing propaganda had effectively prevented the emergence of the " Osoolgara " in our higher politics. During the election which resulted in Ahmadinejad's first presidential victory ( thanks to an incompetent previous administration), the leftwing propaganda was busy telling people that if Ahmadinejad wins the election, he will segregate our streets based on sexes and gender! but in reality, we are witnessing liberal social reforms in all aspect of people's lives. Today in Iran, restrictions on people's daily lives such as how they dress , is at an all time low. Ahmadinejad has pubicly announced that how people are dressed is not a priority for his government.

Today, Ahmadinejad is a lot stronger than 2005. He has made major political and economical progresses. He has gained a lot more support among Iranians and to be fair, he has lost some other supporters from the conservative camp.

Its only natural that he consistantly keeps communicating about his political and economical platforms. His constant TV appearances before the elimination of subsidies was crucial to get the positive impacts of this plan explained to our people. This highly sensitive plan of subsidies elimination now seems like a success.

Perhaps the most important figure who is advising Ahmadinejad on these public appearances , is mashaie. Just by looking at Mashaie's previous posts, you can immediately notice how he is managing Ahmadinejad's public relations. So far, this team has been highly efficient and has made brilliant political moves.

Right is right.

His Out Spoken Style Posses a Problem For USA and Iranians.

by AlexInFlorida on

While the majority of Readers on Iranian.com get themselves educated by the media, which is really nothing more than the propaganda goebels in Nazi Germany used, Ahmagi's outspoken style forces a small percentage of people to think for themselves and not as they are told to think.

Case and point.  All articles today online now are talking of the US/Chinese presidents meetings, with the USA not being happy about 1 Human Rights issues in tibet 2 Chinese currency and trade 3 North Korea.

WTF You must forgive me for being so open but what a load of hypocritical nonsense.

1) Consider the human rights situation in gaza, 1300 people murdered with full US support

2) Consider Israels existence and the UN not recognizing Palestine

3) consider the artificially weak dollar causing global inflation

4) Consider Iraq and 1 in every 2 children being an orphan due to the US occupation and domination of the country

In the past ordinary, non thinking, brainwashed people I feel had a right to aspire to democracy as a form of government.  After all the usa had proved it could be the most powerful country on earth by setting up a system in which people had a choice based on disingenuous greed based agendas, deceit and coercion. Some choice.

However the truth was the only reason usa got to that position had nothing to do with democracy, but the size of the usa compared with its main competitors, japan, germany etc. that is why the usa won.

Today, whether we want to admit it or not, china is the big state and the usa is in decline.  So where are all the people that will want a type of one party hierarchy for Iran, like it exists in china?  You know in 30 years time with huge victories under chinas belt, and more soft power their way this will be the case, especially with the easily influenced and under educated people of Iran.

Shame for Iranians they can't follow their own culture and their own path and have to change themselves anytime the grass looks greener on the other side.  Persian Monarchy is too sophisticated for a people made so ignorant by islam and not able to see the roots of success and failure on the world stage.

I wish he would talk less. It seams like he talk more than any other president from any other country.

Talk less and do more. Start with solving a few problems.
