Tennis pro turns to police over dad's 'death threats'

supersport.com: French tennis player Aravane Rezai has filed a complaint against her father for "harassment, intentional violence and death threats", a police source revealed on Thursday. The complaint was made by the 24-year-old world number 52 last week at a police station in Boulogne-Billancourt on the outskirts of Paris. According to the Le Parisien daily, Rezai also accused her father, Arsalan, of "swindling tens of thousands of euros", but the police source interviewed by AFP said there was "no evidence" to support this aspect of the complaint. Arsalan Rezai has been involved in numerous incidents affecting his daughter in recent years, earning him fines or exclusions from tournaments >>>

I heard some of their stories.  I am with the girl, and the court will prove that.  The case should be so serious to file such a complain.

Some Iranians, being men or women, are not able to control their exessive power over their children.  Too much expectations.

Too right. There was once a promissing Australian tennis player of Serbian origin with a very violent, maniacal father, causing her irreparable damage to her career. He is now sent back to Serbia, and banned by the world tennis body to ever entering any tennis courts.
