I attended one of his seminars about 5 years ago. I had a 1:1 with him, told him about my own exercise routine (triathlon). He was not all for it, but appreciated the fact I was getting a big kick out of it. He did give me some really good tips on swimming which was at the time my weak point.

Very effective ad

So many times, we are looking for a water resistant watch and this is a very effective ad for that product. After all a pro surfer is always in water and if a pro surfer likes a watch, then ordinary person who has less contact with water, should be happy with performance of the watch. I like the ad because it is an effective one and it i sgreat that an Iranian because of her surfing skills, gets featured in ads.

faramarz wanna write about the homo indoeuropeus? weren't the original indoeuropeans at the very beginning of the homo sapiens after they crossed the threshold from the neanderthal stage? (sorry i'm not up on my anthropological biology, i'm adlibbing :ppp). i think we've evolved since: now all men have become mongrels, and share the great features passed on in the Y chromosome, men from diverse backgrounds spanning from the 'dead white european male' aka round glasses liberal university professor (woody allan, no indoeuropean but rather an obsessively  self-professed semite, would be put in this group -- perhaps in the hypochondriacly dying rather than dead group), the 'cold dead hands male' (hey do any of us gals want to spend an erotic time with a guy with dead hands? no siree!!!), 'the ethnic exotic male', all the multiculti spinoffs on 'the latin lover male', all the way to the 'nouveau postmodern new man'. peel off their veneer, and they are each individual, and all the heterosexual ones are inwardly thinking with their less sexy organ.

 but if they have a healthy and CLEVER sense of humour they are invited to try to woo us with charm and a postneanderthal je ne sais quoi.

Surf & Turf, The Sequel!

I read your comments twice and I have to say, “When you don’t know where you are going, every road will take you there!”

Surf and Turf is a term used when you have lobster and steak on your plate. It is used when you mix the sea creatures with the land creatures. It has nothing to do with territory!

In my world, pursuit is not a bad word when you talk about someone who is trying to get another one’s attention. When a woman slips her telephone number on a Kleenex into my pocket, that’s pursuit. I wouldn’t call the cops on her. I just smile and say, “I am flattered, thank you!” There is some level of persistence there, but no harassment or violence intended. It is like a salesperson trying very hard to sell you something that you may or may not want. If you don’t like it, just say thank you and move on.

The references to Strauss-Kahn and Arnold were in response to the generalizations about the Iranian/Afghani/Arab men and the glorification of the European and the North American men. If you folks had spent a good part of your lives living around the men from the other parts of the world, you would know that these prejudices are completely incorrect and inappropriate. There is good and bad in all cultures. But it is self-serving to be selective. Just look at all these priests and politicians that get caught with women and boys everyday! I live a clean life!

The “hand” comment is a quotation from Charlton Heston about the right to bear arms.

The quotation about “will not go hungry” is a passage from Gone with the Wind by Scarlett O’Hara about dealing with adversity. My favorite part of that movie!

My take away from these exchanges is that there are some deep wounds here that some feel about their fellow man and then they try to direct their anger at random passerbys. You have my sympathy, but there is nothing that I could do about it and I don’t have any answers for it either.

So we move on to the next blog.

I promise to be back tomorrow with another set of comments and will not be the least bothered by the opposing views or even accusations! Nothing is sacred!

Watching beautiful women or Speaking of Sexually Harassing them?

Watching beautiful women is fine and natural. However it is different from pursuing them. Pursuit means chase. And chasing women is sexual harrassment.

How dare you say that pursuit = chase = sexual harassment is your “rights”?  And it is your “god-given rights”? Who is religious here? You think exactly like a dirty Mullah.

There is absolutely no difference between you and a Basiji Thug who sexually harasses women. The only difference is that you live in a country where it is illegal to actualize your “god-given rights” to sexually harass women.  Go back to Iran to do that. The IRI Basijis will join you, male chauvinist clown!

Wrong about the second part. Iranian men like you have made house maids pregnant in thousands and they still do.   They also prefer to sexually harass women on the streets of the Iranian cities, not in hotels!!!

Culturally, Iranian men are the closest to the Arabs, the Semites. Don’t feel inferior because you are Middle-Eastern; feel inferior because you are a typical male chauvinist p*g! Feel inferior because you are behaving like an Aryan thug or an Islamist Basiji.

Your “hands”, eh? Shame on you, sexist clown! So you go pursuing and harassing beautiful women and put your hands on them until you are dead?

What kind of lumpen language is this? Just because there is a psychothic man on IC who writes degrading stories about women and calls them "Dolls" and how much Iranian men like to play with dolls, it doesn't mean that you should follow on his dirty footsteps, praise him and then make it your mission to propagate sexism and sexual harassment of women on IC.  

Faramarz: This is a public forum and half of the visitors and contributors are women. You owe us women an APOLOGY and an apology without clowning around. 

Plus, I suggest you go to a library and find a book about sexual harassment of women and how no man has the right to pursue and sexually harass women. You need to educate yourself.

You are using him as your defense? The man is un-consciously, partially sexist. A women called his radio program with a complain that her husband is fooling around. Your favorite Dr asked her whether the husband affair is just sexual or he is in love with the third party.  And his conclusion was it is part of men behavior and as long as her husband is not in love, then the wife should understand the situation. I was wondering if Dr Holakouee potential wife sleeps around, he will ask his wife the same question and comes up with same suggestion as he gave the caller?!

French Rivera= Yes. On those beaches, only men with binocular are either Iranian or one of our brothers’ countries. Have you ever seen, a French man with dilated eyes and open mouth on the beach?

RG= would you please, ask your wife about you and test of beauty towards of other women? If she is fine with it, then I rest my case.

But Nanoo atefeh,  seriously, looking and admiring beautiful things -which include this young lady- is one of many thing which differentiates us the human beings from other animals. So is a sense of humour!

But noting my very own weired sense of humour, It might be worth clarifying that I regard my immediate family (wife and kids) as a huge blessing. I value them zillions times more than some bikini clad teanager on the beach. and for sure that young lady would hardly be interested in this hairy balding forty year old married man with kids.

Don’t know why?

 I am just amazed to read and see reaction of Iranian men towards women at this page. Comments are sex oriented. There is no way this young lady get this kind of reaction from any European or Northern American men. I am sure, Arabs men or Afghani men are having same attitude as Iranian men. Why is that?
