I slept well last night

Knowing one these bastards got beat up (killing them just make them more popular)

Shah even didn’t allowed they be killed, just jailed.

Don’t be fooled people, this is their own work to buy people’s sympathy, as we know they don’t have problem to torture, jail and hang their own kind when they see it is to their benefit.  Who ever likes mullah must be getting a big pay check from them.

They ask an Akhoond,is there any better charlatan than you.

He answered, yes those who bow to us and they are welling to do anything for us.

I agree. We are not taking the brunt of the Mollah horror. So I will not condemn any actions taken by Iranian people against them. When people see a daughter murdered at her fathers burial what do you expect? Do you really think they will just take it! Mollahs are toast and have lost all their credibility. Specially now when education is becoming more available. The whole basis of Mollahs is ignorance and Khorafat. Now they added fear.

But fear only gets you so far. When you kill a dead man's daughter at his funeral you go too far. At some point people say "marg yebar; shivan yebar" and be done with it. I bet you half the Basiji and Pasdars are as horrified as we are.

With fear and ignorance gone they have no basis and will fail. The stuff about Islam being our salvation was proved wrong. No amount of damage control will help. I am telling you the end of Mollahs will be just like Mussolini.

The only hope for a non violent change is a benevolent opposition leader like Mandela. Someone respected who stands in front of the mob and says: No! Take them to trial do not tear them up right here. We have Ebadi; maybe she is up to that. I am not sure of this. But without that there will be massive killing.

I would like to add regarding "what if the Mollah was saving some girl from a rapist". It is like saying what if Hitler was saving the Jews! Well then he would not be Hitler would he? It is a silly question and not worth a response.

I really hope we get a non violent transition to a secular democracy. But for now I refuse to condemn attacks on Mollahs. They asked for it; they got it. And there is more; much more.

Benyamin

there is a fine line between "tolerance" and "anger"!!!

by Benyamin on

It is not up to oposition to condemn this incident! The oposition has been cut off from "everything" and "every where" in Iran. We don`t have correct and "independent" source to verify what went on in this incident. Therefore, It is not our responsibility to condemn this incident or support it. But there is one thing that is interesting, when anger takes over usualy it means tolerance has gaven in to violent.

The mollahs have lost their credibility to advise anyone since they are responsible for making everyone`s life miserable and poor and there is no hope.

So my answer to the guy who asked "what if the mollah was saving some girl from a rapist" I would answer with a question "what would you do if a rapist is saving a girl from another rapist"

Good job, it is just the start of new page in Iran history

by Siavash300 on

It made my day. Good job whoever did it. I think it is just the begining of the new page in Iran political wave. it is meant to attack and beat the crap out of Mullahs. Mullahs are getting what they deserve. I am sure next attack would be much more larger and organized than this one. Let's keep our fingers cross.

is not getting orders from anywhere except Alzheimer. He is an old cranky power hungry nut. Just like the long line of old cranky power hungry nuts before him. Except that he is also  missing the better qualities of love of nation.

Soosan Khanoon, don't waste your time figuring where he gets his orders. It is his rotting brain that is giving them.

Kooshan

This is why I never trust out-of-Iran opposition.

by Kooshan on

There is no sense of rational in their talk. As long as you burn the DRY with the wet(!) you will never succeed.

I wonder if you promote sexual harrassment......The poor guy risked his life for the screaming girl! Don't tell me you side with the sexual offenders! What would you do if they had the girl and few days later she was found dead after rape in the ourskirts of Tehran?

by Soosan Khanoom on

Unfortunately that seems to be the case wit iran ...

We may even find some good laws to dig out from current constitution but Velayat Faghess has ruined it for everyone and till we have that then there is no hope ...

I was wondering who are the circle of friends for the VP? I am sure he is not acting alone .... Can someone look into the " shora maslehat nezam " and see who are those people? They are forcing their agends and they need a moron such khameni to hide themselves behind him...

khameni is by no means the character that khomeni was ... he has been getting his ideas from some behind the scenes ones?   ..... that is my guess

divaneh

Very well done

by divaneh on

Its pity that they spared him his life as he now may identify them. If we had more of these brave people, Akhonds wouldn't dare enforcing their evil ideas on the society.

Onlyiran

If there wasn't a legal system to turn to (as in Iran's case)

by Onlyiran on

There would have been a lot of "revenge" and fighting in the U.S. as well.  Trust me.  There would have been another civil war in the U.S.

They were peaceful because there was a peaceful system to turn to. Where is that system in Iran?  "Dadgah-e-enghelab"?!!!!!

Again, a police state will not go away with flower power and peace signs. It either is removed by violent uprisings (Romania), is invaded by foreign forces (Italy and Germany), or implodes from within (USSR).  And this is not Iranian people's fault.  The IRI is the one that has created this mess by being a police state.

Only IRAN

by Soosan Khanoom on

They did not get there overnight .... you must be naive to think so ...

you have to fight for your rights no one just gives it to you ...

They fight for it  and because of the wisdom of King and the fact that he captured the mind and the heart whites as well and also because he was able to have many black as well as white civil rights lawyers on the board they won their case ...

if it was violent and revenge based .... none of these things would had happened and we may even up to this moment  would be witnessing street blood sheds and or masquers  with out even getting the independence jouries on the board ...

VPK .... I agree ... after all each group of people has their own personality and/ or culture  and things should be judged accordingly

by the way, Democracy is not the right of Majority ... it is the right of individual .....

what we see in the U.S is actually a republic but perhaps a democratic republic

is right about the treatment of blacks in the USA. They were not being given justice. Read about the "Dread Scott" decision. The reason for the relatively calm  response was numbers. Blacks are 10% of the USA population.

There are simply more whites and they are better armed. In Iran it is different. The majority have deep hated of Mollahs. Almost every family has been hit; even the rulers. I know so many people who have relatives victimized by IR. We have big families in Iran. And family love and loyalty goes deep. When you kill a cousin or an aunt you turn a whole family against you. These are big! All  Kurd hate the IR There are just not sufficient people to defend Mollahs against a vast angry people.

Onlyiran

No SK- They won because of rule of law and because of this case

Brown vs. Board of Education:

Black people in this country and under the rule of lands of the sweet U.S. of A had experienced their own holocaust ..... you must be kidding ... right ?

They had no rights ... Absolutely NONE .... they were slaves ...... and they were got burned live in their houses by KKK ...

of course Jews have their own holocusts

IRI has also created one hell of a holocaust ot its own people

and they all are wrong but not less than each other ...

never think otherwise ....

the only reason they won ... was their street demonstrations ..... and the fact that they listened to king non violent approach  ..... and they got succeed because whites joined them ..... the very same whites who have been the son or a daughter of the slave owners and even the KKK's... and once they triumphed they did not ask for the revenge or burning of the whites as they were burned by them .... they only asked for  their God given rights ....

Now That is a real change ...

but you are also right in pointing out to that independent jury ...... but may be they also got educated and start to practice the real law

Veiled Prophet of Khorasan

Rosa Parks

by Veiled Prophet of Khorasan on

Did not belong to an oppressed majority population. Iranian people do. When an oppressed majority gets their hands on the minority oppressors things get bad. For the oppressors.

In America the best Rosa was able to get was rule of law. In our nation there is a very angry majority. When they get their hands on the Mollahs they will be merciless. I am just telling the fact not making it up. Watch it happen.

Onlyiran

Rosa Parks lived in a country where there is

by Onlyiran on

an independent judiciary, and that independent judiciary brought uopn the end of segregation in the U.S.  Comparing that to Iran under the IRI is either naive, unintelligent or meant to deceive...or all of the above.

The IRI can only be compared to other dictatorships and police states where there is no independent court and system of justice that one can turn to.  This is what IRI's "courts" resemble:

Soosan Khanoom

.....

by Soosan Khanoom on

Sometimes my ideas are good on paper or for  a poem or song ..

like " magine"

" You may call me the dreamer ... but I am not the only one ....

I was thinking how Rosa Park stood out against the discrimination and then we had all those human rights and civil rights activists in this country willing to demonstrate and bring the changes ...

May be that is too far from reality and too far and almost impossible to get it done in Iran the very same way ......

So dear Rozbeh you may be well right .. we perhaps should get rid of the regime first ....

but before we do, we should  make sure with what are we going to replace it? .....and we have to start from oursleves and our remarks here on IC ...

I was laughing so hard  seeing the Iranian TV broadcasters video that was posted the other day  but that is actually the exact face of the oppositions groups ... may be instead of laughing we should actually cry ...

So this is opposition group in outside of Iran  ..

Then we have the opposition inside Iran  that according to that funny guy they are all on their way to Shomal even people from Shabi's family

so if things are going as I see them ... then who knows may be if we spend our efforts in educating ordinary people the change may come much sooner than waiting for the opposition both inside and outside of Iran to get their acts together  ...

Justice, will require lots of killing unfortunately

by amirparvizforsecularmonarchy on

For every victim there is a case and it will need to be addressed.

Peoples children are dying and getting tortured by the thousand in prisons as it is each year, those outside prison mostly have it pretty bad too.

ideally you want the least killing, but this regime is tyrannical and won't go with out a fight.

One alternative that may occur no matter what the US/UK/France/Germany want will be if Iranians unite and pay a very high price to fight the regime.

In that scenario, no one can keep this regime in power because those opposing it will be planning and organizing from within Iran, through workers unions etc etc.

That may happen at the next election, because infighting among mullahs is very bad and that disunity creates a space for Irans discontent masses to be the deciding factor to impose the rules of who wins and who loses.

Even This regime cannot withstand anger directed at it directly by all sides, no matter how many thugs they employ, they can only crack down for 6 months or so, and under genuine turmoil the economy will stand still.

Instead of being lead by mousavi and karoubi, regime defenders, asking millions to go home, the people will be lead by voices asking them to pay any price.

"only education can bring permanent change"

by Roozbeh_Gilani on

And our nation is deprived of "Education", so long as the dark forces of Islamist fascism are in charge...

In a post Islamist republic Iran, As far as the decision for the punishment (or forgiveness) of the islamist regime leadership and supporters' is concerned, that should be left to the direct relatives of hundreds of thousands of victims of this regime, burried in known and unknown graves scattered around  our beloved land.

The rest of us, would have the enormous task of re_building the ruins and healing the wounds......

"Personal business must yield to collective interest."

If the regime goes it will be like france,

by amirparvizforsecularmonarchy on

Trial by victims,

one person at a time.

Guilotene or in mullahs case 10 hours of torture.

But don't get your hopes up for now.  USA and West still support the Regime and want mullahs for Iran.  It may change in a few years based on other issues, but no one can tell.

Right now west is helping the Regime pursue activists abroad so just be careful.  Although Regime is playing it that west is funding opposition... even that story and proof for it they do with help from west.  Basically west has all the marbles and is fully in control of our destiny, and they are doing a disgusting job at it.  Never forget the silence and actions in favor of keeping mullahs by our so called friends during these dark days.

Human Rights are our Birth Right, but is being denied us, no differently than it is denied Africans.

Soosan Khanoom

Dear VPK

by Soosan Khanoom on

I am not whitewashing their crimes ....... I want for all of us and our children and our children's children a true democratic Iran ....

Stoning is not even in Quran and yet they dare to perform it so barbarically  ... I personally would like all those who commit this crime get what they deserve but I want for myself to be just .... cause I shall also reap what I sow ...

Veiled Prophet of Khorasan

Yes

by Veiled Prophet of Khorasan on

Mussolini fate awaits the Islamist priests. And that was done by the "civilized" Italians. Do not kid yourselves. When the thugs go people are going to make mince meat out of them.

How dare they stick women up to the neck in dirt and stone them. Do they think people will not respond in kind? What do they expect: roses? No, their actions will bring their demise and it will not be pretty.

Soosan Khanoom: you may try to whitewash their crimes. But people whose loved ones were tortured; raped and murdered will have no desire to forgive. I fear revenge will be the order. And the lucky ones are those who run away.

killing them won't change the backward culture of ours .. only education can bring permanent change .....

I was seeing that stupid video of the guy talking about "how to wash your hair" who was posted here the other day. The thing is more than his stupid remarks I was bothered seeing women willing to sit and listen to this moron and actually take notes ......

now suppose you kill this moron ..... he already has those women to make a martyr out him and fight you back  ..... but if you put all your efforts in educating people then there is no one siting there to even listen at first place .....

I do not disagree with a court of law and trail with juries and a lawyer to defend even the most discussing criminals and once it is proven guilty then a sentence .......

we have to get there one day but we have a long way to go .....

by Veiled Prophet of Khorasan on

as I hate violence these f*** deserve much worse. They should be given the same punishment they gave the other people. Where is "Rastgoo" to tell us Iranians *love* IR? What a great display of true love of Mollahs.

I want to watch this love shown to all Mollahs. From the lowest to the highest. Then turn Qum into a rug making city. That is the one good thing that comes from it. Nice silk rugs.

Onlyiran

And further

by Onlyiran on

And this whole idea that if we treat mullahs the same way
that they treated others will somehow create another cycle of violence is just
hogwash.  Look at what
the Italians did to Mussolini
(and his wife for that matter)
or what the Romanians
did
Ceausescu and his wife.  Afterwards, both countries came out of
dictatorships and became democracies.

I must say you are right, I mean the monsters with two horns, shakh.

You right animals are much better than clergy.

lady susan,

please give me a break, educated or uneducated , do you think when this regime fall any of these monsters would be around, all them have british or canadian and american residency, educate yourself. come in live in toronto, you will see how many of these akhoonds families are living in here. all them have canadian citizenship.

If we don't kill them, trust me there would be no change in country. Doesn’t matter who say what, only way to free Iran is killing KHOONDS AND BASIJI on the streets and burning mosques and akhoonds together.

Those who think with non violence demonstration you could topple this regime; they must be mistaking Iran with European countries.
