Majles Rejects Ahmadinejad Nominee
Bernama - Iranian lawmakers did not give vote of confidence to the nominated minister by President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad for Sports and Youth Ministry, Xinhua news agency reported, citing the semi-official Mehr news agency report Tuesday. On Tuesday's Majlis (Parliament) meeting session, out of 247 votes cast, 137 Iranian lawmakers voted against, 87 voted for Hamid Sajjadi and 23 abstained, according to the report >>>
