Reuters: Iran's opposition website Sahamnews said security forces attacked pro-reform demonstrators gathering in Tehran on Sunday to mark the anniversary of the 2009 disputed presidential election. viable solution was/is and will be in the near distnat future is exterme violence brought upon regime's goons. Either guns and ammo have to be supplied through clandestine networks to the opposotion (Yes I know there may be a risk of civil war) or have U.S/Nato bomb pasdars, basiji and information ministery head quarters and create enough chaos for people to come to streets and take over without fear. Anything else will be some what pointless.

The Green movement is suppressed in Iran. 

The Muslim Leaders Tactic of kidnapping green leaders and supporters and then torturing and raping them, its hard to argue it didn't work for now.
