Iran to compete in London Olympics

Despite logo complaint

BBC: Iran has indicated it will attend the 2012 Olympics in London, despite complaining that the Games logo resembles the word "Zion". Last month the Iranians complained to the International Olympic Committee and called for the graphic to be replaced. They objected on the grounds that its resemblance to the word Zion - a Biblical term for Israel - was racist.

But now the Iranian-backed Press TV has quoted an official as saying Iranians will "participate gloriously".

The report by Press TV quotes the secretary of Iran's Olympic organising committee, Bashram Afsharzadeh, as saying: "Our decision, to partake [in the] Olympic Games, has nothing to do with the UK politicians. "We will make co-ordination with officials of the International Olympic Committee and we will participate and play gloriously in London Games." In its original letter to the IOC, Iran had called for the Games logo to be withdrawn and its designers "confronted". There was also a suggestion that Iranian athletes would be told not to attend >>>

I really don't feel that IRI has put enough emphasis on sports.....they ban women from swimming, gynmastics, diving, beach volleyball (?).............but they made such a big noise about the Olympic logo! They threatened to boycott the London Games and acted like that they are indispensible.....without them, ratings will drop 20%.........OMG!

This is what IRI has done

1) Saw "Zion" from 2012

2) filed complained and threatened to boycott

3) Being told that they will not be missed if they have no show

4) decided to show up even though the logo is still revolting!

Competitions in Iran (IRI does not care about Olympics and sports and other
things that regular civilized human beings are interested in, but they will care about this one).

The reason for boycotting Terrorist IRI will e because their imposed
flag has the same words as Terrorist  Al-Qaeda's Flag

  Yes I see if you switch the letters around and spin the 2 to look like a N,it spells Zion.Not so hard of a optical illusion but still it is,an Illusion..

IRI knows for sure that no creadable gouverment in the world  has any respect for them as a legitimate gouverment whatsoever. and the attention  that they get is all for their mischievious behaviour.

The IRI politicians are a bunch of jokers who do not have  a clue about the world politics because they are not edgucated enough , you can tell by the way they talk and  behave, and they are mostly led by thier Emaam Zamaan rather than  their own  brain. 

 And the main question  for the IRI is:

Shouldn't you be more worried about the communists , (koffaar),

rather than the zionists ?

Not so Dear Islamic Republic  

Olympic Committee have been asked not to let you participate because the logo on your flag is a SIK symbol and even as you claim it to be Allah in Arabic, still has no Iranian background:

From the day they introduce this logo in 2006 I was wondered why the second 2 written different than the first 2. I mean that diamond on top wasn't necessary....and somehow I think IRI are right!!...that diamond could use as a dot for "I"...but why someone wants to writes Zion secretly in Olympic logo and what kind of profit they would have???...I just don't know and don't care...
