RP 2 Presents Well, too bad Monika Jalili & Noorsaaz were absent
by Darius Kadivar on Thu Mar 31, 2011 03:30 AM PDTRP 2 Presents Well as usual But Monika Jalili and the Noorsaaz Band would have been a much better and subtle choice than the regular LA Pop groups for an occasion like this:
AN AXIS OF JOY: Monika Jalili and Noorsaaz
Interestingly none of the members of this cosmopolitan band of Persian instrumentalists and vocalist is Iranian.
Monika Jalili Voice, Megan Weeder Violin, Timothy Quigley Percussion,Mavrothis Kontanis Oud, Nathan Dillon Guitar
They would have been an ideal and living personification that Persian Culture can appeal beyond our Iranocentric community ...
After all Isn't that what Cultural Diplomacy is all about ?

It's impressive how Pamela Anderson Keeps reinventing herself?
by amirparvizforsecularmonarchy on Wed Mar 30, 2011 11:04 PM PDTI wonder why Pamela Anderson was doing an impersonation of Pavarotti at the end of this video? I really liked her alot in Baywatch. She looks nicer in her bikini.
It was good to see such famous people celebrating our New Year... Kojack in particular looked very smart.
Hopefully in the future we can have one of these costume parties in Iran, I want to come dressed like Khomeini... I intend to grow a beard for the occasion and watch everyone serve and praise me, out of their ignorance.
Those who want more for Iran than these guys.. my comment to you... get real.. we Iranians are not the best in the world, but sadly/truly these guys are the best we have.
RP's vision
by Ali P. on Wed Mar 30, 2011 09:30 PM PDTHe is supposed to envision an Iran, where you can freely make fun of the Monarch.
Who's playing balls with him?
Amazing Video
by Tavana on Wed Mar 30, 2011 04:57 PM PDTNorooz gathering of the "dead?" Just unbelievable! No wonder it took place in DC (Departed Cemetry)!

by hamsade ghadimi on Wed Mar 30, 2011 02:06 PM PDTforouhar, former queen of falcon crest. that was funny. sadly, she's still stuck in the 80s.
Great to See RP thinking of the waiters
by bahmani on Wed Mar 30, 2011 01:51 PM PDTI am very proud to see RP taking the opportunity to see what life is like for waiters by becoming a waiter for one night. It's this kind of selfless act of putting himself in the shoes of everyman, that will no doubt give him a good chance to lead Iran one day.
God willing and God causing all of the mollahs to slip and fall and break their necks at once.
It is also good to see Lex Luthor back. I'm not so sure using the name Bijan Kian will work though. So many times I feel that Lex has been simply misunderstood, and his comments and obsession about total world domination entirely taken out of context.
It's also good to see the former queen of Falcon Crest back in front of the camera once again.
The Devilish Clowns' Norooz!
by Demo on Wed Mar 30, 2011 11:45 AM PDTAs we say it in Farsi: Rooz Az No Va "Farib-Kari" Az No!
Rather than joining other devils, the Clown Reza should have instead visited both sister's and his brother's grave sites and asking GOD on this Norooz to save him & the rest of his family leftover from any of the family inherited genetic psycho disorder adverse effects as happened to his father, his brother & his sister! GOD may save our country & our people from the DC's intentions behind all their gatherings!
Khoda ro Shokr
by ali_aaa on Wed Mar 30, 2011 11:34 AM PDTI have not seen the video. But I am glad that JJ did not put a Video of a Mulla in Library of Congress instead.
I was getting worried about this site, too much pashm was showing up.

by Golinedairani on Wed Mar 30, 2011 11:11 AM PDTRP and Leila F.
by comments on Wed Mar 30, 2011 10:16 AM PDTI am getting to like RP (not most of his fans). I think the Iranian revolution and IRI had too much to do regarding my view to RP.
I don't think the Leila F was appropriate for such an event. Her clothing, hair style and make up were 180 degree different from what it was supposed to be in such a formal event. Her style is so appropriate for cheap night clubs. I think a young conservative Iranian singer was more appropriate. Or a legend such as Ebi, Darioush or Googoosh.
This guy
by fussygorilla on Wed Mar 30, 2011 09:59 AM PDTwill kiss anyone's ass just to get publicity. Disgusting!
